It's not the anime we wanted. If you didn't read the manga or light novel, it may have seemed better, just a lot of bad CGI battles and a cliffhanger ending preparing for season 2. However, I read the manga, and then 9 of the 10 light novels that are released, and found that the anime I was hoping for was a complete bust. I found that a majority was pushed through in the anime, whereas they should've been given more time to at least give some emotion. When Hajime lost his arm to the bear, there was little emotion in the anime. He quickly didn't care and spent little time fighting his emotions in his mind... See full review
