Like plenty of others, I used to watch Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball Z, and all of that other good stuff as a kid before I really knew what "anime" was. I was later introduced to Toonami and that's where I found Inuyasha, which I consider to be one of the first anime I really got into.
I watched some anime throughout middle school, but I only very recently started to actively watch anime, back around September 2013. For some reason, I decided to watch Angel Beats! one evening and I ended up watching Clannad soon after, which eventually snowballed into a full-blown hobby for me and I haven't looked back since.
