This anime is what I consider stereo typical in horror genre. This wasn't doing justice to the genre. I'm not going to talk about the story since in my opinion it sucked hard, but I have seen people who can go through the bullshit in every episode turn off there brain and watch. But I can't turn off my brain when watching something and I know for this kind of anime thats a bad thing. I felt this anime tried too hard to be good but lost sight of what it means to be good as an anime. While there were a couple amazing fights and deaths, everything besides fight scenes and death scenes were handeled either terribly or handeled as average as anime can be handeled. It was just over the top blood to cover up being awful. The beginning was so hard to watch because it was boring and repetitive. And there are whole episodes dedicated to Saya & friends eating sweets, which would be okay if the series was as long as One Piece. This series had its good moments but its still bad. I mean one of the most brutal deaths in anime occurs in this anime, so I think they just needed to take away the filler, add more fights, flesh out the plot and we'd have a somewhat decent series. But instead we have a 12 episode series with a few awfull filler episodes. I don't hate all filler just filler thats unnecessary. Naruto gets crap for its filler but Dragon Ball Z has almost as much and do we give it crap no because its filler was better than some main fights. Bleach is another example of filler done right, but it suffers most of the same problems as Blood-C with a bad story, average characters, average sound and just barely above average animation. And Blood-C doesn't even have the excuse of being original as all of the concepts of Blood-C were done before.

So lets recap:

Story: Very Bad needs to be reworked a little 3.8/10

Animation: Just barely above average 5.2/10

Sound: Above average but not amazing 6/10

Characters: With Every character its either you hate the character or like them: 5/10

No Originality so I won't bump up the score at all, so it sits at a solid 4/10
