Review for both season This was surprisingly good watch, it was so calming and sometimes very realistic for anime. It clearly took account of many teenage high school problems and concerns which I thought it was very interesting. The story was subtle yet made me feel many kinds of emotions and reminded me of what a perfect high school everyday life would be like. As for characters I like most of them and have special feeling for the twin boys, they are hilarious and kind of resembles me and my twin. The only one I cannot stand is that annoying Masaki ( tsundere girl), I struggled to watch episodes... See full review
Most of the reviews are more to the positive side, so I decided to make it neutral. What I liked: It had its uniqueness, the story was decent and made sense, it wasn't like too obvious or hard to interpret. What I disliked: -Animation. I did not like the style at all, every character had the same face it was hard to follow along at first. -It was one of those animes that more than half of the first episodes are boring as hell (no humour, no interesting character) but the last few episodes wrap up and finally makes it intersting to watch. I had atleast 3 attempts to drop it. -Despite being 12... See full review
I am shooked, I knew this is going to be a big hit, but I am shooked that I actually enjoyed this. I thought that it is gonna be boring because it is family friendly and I don’t know it just seemed like a kids animation. But I was wrong, there were some typical scenarios but it is exceptional since the animation is 💣 . Anyway watch it, it going to be fun!
See full reviewThis season was more reflective and made me think of so many things about life, self realization and what it means to live. There were still comedy and cute scenes, but it concentrated more on the message rather than love drama and such. I think this was made very well (both season were astonishing) and I respect everyone who made this anime possible. Some people did not like the second season because 'spoiler alert'........................................................................ none their romance was successful 'spoiler' , but I think that is what makes this anime so genuine and realistic... So I'm not gonna be straightforward with this one, Clannad was pretty entertaining to watch, the characters and their interactions reminded me much of Disappearance Haruhi Suzumiya which I liked. I already knew how popular Clannad was so I was pretty much hyped up to watch it and I don't regret it. It had very good slice of life, school life and comedy... BUT the story sucked. The love drama and dark themes were sooo boooring like I've seen stories like that on many shitty animes and I am tired of it. I don't care about how depressed Nagisa is or that dady's boy Tomoya, because their problems don't relate... See full review
So if I were to describe this anime in one word, it would be the word "bland". The message, the characters and problems were all normal, nothing special just like any other short sport animes, which frustrated me. I don't have time to watch this boring anime that aires every season and you don't even remember that you've watched. If you are new to sport animes, tsurune is a great choice to get started, the animation was gorgeous and it is an easy watch. But for me it was a real struggle, starting from the first episode I just knew where it was going, I got the general idea( and I should... See full review
So the first few episodes were very interesting, I liked whole idea of new dimension and the opening was unique. But WTF am I watching? I am honestly having very hard time to understand what is happening, after one or two episodes I've lost my track, on every episode new characters with ugly face and stupid hair started to appear it pissed me off. This anime was just trying to imitate every freakin fiction anime out there and failed miserably. The main characters were boring, so as the plot. It feels like every episode was taken from different bunch of animes and smashed together as one episode. Everything... See full review
What can I say, this anime is lit. It is unlike any typical romance anime and the characters are so realistic. None of the character is specified to a particular type or characteristics and the interactions between them is unique. Honestly this was the first romance anime I completed and I am totally in love with Mugi and Hanabi. And believe me there is so much more to this anime.
See full reviewI would recommend everyone to watch this anime at least once because this was the only anime movie that I've truly enjoyed watching other than Ghibli studio movie. I loved how the characters were developed to be so realistic and that the main character was not trying to be special be anything. This anime was more than just dramatic story, it had so many elements which deals with various relationship between adults and teens. Not your typical anime movie.
