Sorry I totally poofed for a while, I've been catching up on games I haven't played yet. I will check out Violet Evergarden this month! I have heard mixed reviews on it, but since you brought it up I think I will give it a shot :D
My go to genres are action, adventure, sports, slice of life, mystery, romance, and comedies. Basically I will give most things a fair chance if they have a good enough premise, but there are definitely some genres I can't get into like the idol animes for example.
I don't think I could pick an absolute favorite anime opening/ ending. I have a playlist on youtube that I update regularly whenever I find an opening or ending I really enjoy. Not every song makes the list, but there is still over six hundred songs on the playlist so picking just one seems unfair. I could maybe narrow it down to a top hundred lol, but that's still to many to list.
