Sing "Yesterday" for me is honestly a complete waste of time, terrible story with awful characters who have little to no redeeming qualities at all, the first few episodes start out somewhat promising but quickly devolves into wasting screen time with almost filler like content that really doesn't feel like its pushing the story along at all, which gives a sincere feeling of slow pacing and some episodes feel like a chore to sit through. The two main characters are truely awful, especially Shinako. The only character that I feel is remotely genuine is Haru with her... See full review
A couple of cuckoo's is the classic romcom harem anime and whilst it doesn't really do anything wrong per say, the lacklustre ending with basically no real resolvement at all (isn't it always though?) doesn't really help its case. The storyline is also extremely predictable with practically every single RomCom trope added in heaps, typical beach episodes? Check...bath house? School Festival? Yep, its all here to burn up screen time, whilst the story barely inches forward each time, and when it does it goes straight back into typical trope country. The characters for me feel flat and... Very difficult to write this review without possible spoilers, so be warned.
Banished from the Hero's party starts out as any typical fantasy anime does, with solid world building and introduction of the characters and whatever strife is taking place, this is in the form of the typical demon king and his army trope that is sweeping the land and the Hero's party is the only party strong enough to beat back the forces, the main character as per the title is banished from the said party and wants to live a quiet life.
After the anime is several episodes in and past all the... See full review
One Punch Man season 2 is a big disappointment that ends prematurely and on a very pointless note leading into Season 3...assuming that ever happens. The first 6 episodes slowly build up the story revolving around the newly organized league of monsters and the Hero Hunter Garou but most of the episodes barely feature Saitama, and what scenes he's featured are flat and feel like he's been relegated to almost the level of a side character as Genos is featured significantly more along with other heroes, and in the last 3 episodes Saitama gets less barely any screen time at all. The... See full review

I've seen alot of school life anime with similar tags, and this one is easily one of the worst I've seen, sure Armed Girl's Machiavellism starts out promising with several humorous moments, but the swordplay combat scenes often make little sense, serving limited purpose to move the story along and typically way over the top fight scenes don't help its case.
Nomura is your typical alpha cocky male type with a fairly useless task of attaining marks from the 5 swords from fighting progressively harder and more skilled girls who somehow are allowed to carry weapons in a... See full review
This may contain Spoilers [Spoiler Alert] Citrus...oh my, its a really mixed bag with a very safe yuri themed anime that never really goes anywhere. The characters, especially Yuzu are forgettable and almost completely two dimensional along with the pathetic story that is full of huge plot holes and the watcher can practically tell in advance what is going to happen with the highly predictable story lines. The first red flag for me was the whole unexplained starting plot that Yuzu's mom had secretly married Mei's father without Yuzu ever knowing about it, which strikes me as odd even for Japan's... Silent Voice is without a doubt, a tour-de-force of an emotional rollercoaster of a movie, that intertwines age old problems of bullying and successfully portrays the effects on people, the suffering and the emotional problems can last for years, Silent Voice perfectly captures this within the struggles of Shoko, the loveable deaf girl who suffers intense bullying from Shoya. Shoko is a complicated girl, being deaf and struggling through school life whilst being the victim of some pretty intense bullying, and the source of the classes frustrations due to her handicap, you just can't...
