The story is interesting because it's a female mc in a cultivating world and she's not isekai. She's strong and go enter a sect by herself which is refreshing in the sea of damsel in distress saved by "handsome" guy. That is until the story takes almost 30 chapters to focus on the male lead. I don't know what the author was thinking or if it will have an impact on the story later on but that kind of focus on a second character is more akin to novels. In novels you can start with the mc and read side stories about different characters but in manhua you don't have that many pages on a chapter to begin with so its weird. But well, the story isn't bad so its fine. Although the mc can get quite annoying sometimes.
