]I gave it a 7 out of 10 so you can't say I don't like it. For me it's an extremely high score. And as you could see most of my personal pet peeves were rather superficial (clothing, looks, etc.) which should tell you that I have no problem with the story. Of course it's forgettable, it's the same scenario I've read on dozens other stories. It doesn't mean that it's bad it's just a fact. I read 100s of reincarnation stories because I like them. But I know that they mostly have the exact same plot with a different character. I don't think we really disagree on what's important here anyway.

My point isn't about it not being magical enough. My point is the plot is nonsensical. He "fights evil with the law" is already lame enough. And what is evil? Random kids actings like big bosses for fun? There's nothing that makes me care for him or his goal at all. It's just the author telling us "here is the good guy, he is good so you must like him. Here is the bad guy, he is bad so you must hate him". Characters are shallow and so is the story.

Hey, so it's been a long time and I don't remember exactly who is that Fei dude but Alexander is indeed the guy that reincarnated or got soul transferred into the body of Alexander. As for the red sand and the others, unfortunately the author started many threads that they didn't finish so it stayed a mystery until the end. We don't know what those locust like animals were or whatever happend in the desert in the past. Towards the en the author just rushed things and it became relatively boring. Most of the fans hated the ending because of that.

Yes the story was decent until the plot went south. I originally gave it a 7 for the story but I slowly reduced it to a 2. But i'm too harsh, I'll bring it to a 5.
