Although I haven't been involved in the community at all, in fact you're the only person whom I've just now spoken to on here. Hope it's a good year for you this year and things are going well! 2017, rough times all around. Crazy things happening!

Now it's my turn to apologize for being late.  So sorry for my delay in responding - things got busy for me all of the sudden and I haven't been able to spend as much time on the site as I usually do! So it’s taking too much longer than usual to reply to my profile comments. I usually try to respond more quickly.

2017 in the US started off with a rude shock to me.  I try not to pay too much attention to political events nowadays as a result.  I hope this year isn't a harbinger of worse to come!  I am also hoping for this year to bring some good changes with it.  We are halfway through already (so hard to believe!) and not seriously bad, but I've yet to see amazing goodness.

Unless you count the birthday vacation my mom and sis made to travel out to visit me in California from 3,000 miles away and I haven't seen them in person for years.  That was seriously good! *smile*
