I don't understand why you're just adding all this anime.  I find it incredibly hard to believe you've watched 5 hours of anime every single day since you were 6 years old.  And that isn't even adding in the hours spent reading manga.  Just curious.

You seem to talk a lot without saying that much. You don’t need to elaborate on your personality or your beliefs as it has no bearing on this argument. Complex is complex. I don’t know what you mean by, “You have the habit of believing everything the way you want.” The original topic has nothing to do with beliefs but opinions. You said that his character wasn’t complex; I argued that it is. And his complexity runs deep throughout the story. I mean, have you actually ever read it? Also, you know nothing about me as a person, so it’s presumptuous to make such a leap about my personality.

I just stated how he was emotionally complex. Griffith operates on jealously, opportunism, and obsession. For example, look at everything he did to reach his dream. He was completely driven by emotion when Guts left. His encounter with Charlotte wasn’t about sex; it was about control. He was scared of losing everything he had gained up until this point in the story, so he acted out of desperation and pain. Charlotte was there, and he knew he was able to control her. All he had to do was wait a bit, and he would have married her, but he was too consumed by his pain and hatred of Guts. He even stated at one point that Guts is the only person who made him forget his dream. Also, for him to be able to sacrifice the entire Band of the Hawk, a requirement is that the person sacrificing has to love those being sacrificed. Griffith very much loved the Band of the Hawk and Guts, otherwise he wouldn’t have made the choices he did. After he became Femto, all he focused on was hurting Guts, which is why he did what he did to Casca. Those aren’t characteristics of someone who isn’t emotionally intelligent. And I don’t hate Griffith, so that argument is invalid.

Have you ever even analyzed Berserk while watching/reading it? Griffith is one of the most emotionally complex people in the whole series. Why do you think he acted the way he did when Guts left? Why do you think there’s so many conversations/arguments about his character? He was driven by his emotions because Guts is the one person he can’t control, so he went and found someone he could control. Mixing a bunch of words together about complexity and emotional intelligence doesn’t make you right, which is what I’m gathering from you argument.
