I don't think she really does.
Not to mention Mamoru is actually her father. I wonder if Chibiusa really likes him in a romantic way. She might have a crush on him, but I don't think it's anymore than that. Chibiusa wouldn't exist if Mamoru doesn't marry Usagi.
Usagi and Chibiusa relationship is sweet. Chibiusa was a brat at first, but shot got better throughout the story
She's a relatable and likeable character. She's a crybaby and get bad grades, but she cares about her friends and is strong when she needs to be.
I liked Usagi as well.
