FFF-Class Trashero

I consider myself extremely lucky to find this comic. It has an MC that could be called a villain.

Most comics do not like to even do true anti-heroes, nonetheless a villain-like main characters. At best, you might find a main character who is aloof and cold, but generally very heroic. The number of comics who have true anti-heroes/villain-like main characters is something I can count on one hand…and I wouldn't need all my fingers.

So I absolutely love this one if, for nothing else, other than finally breaking the mold and doing something different.

The MC is outright malevolent and the entire story is his attempt at malicious compliance. He handles nearly all problems by violence and murder. He's the traditional 'overpowered isekai MC' too, so it's virtually impossible to defeat him.

Overall, the story itself is not particularly unique or engaging -- even the leveling system is nonsensical, e.g. characters can lose to people they're hundreds of levers higher than. Instead, this is an almost entirely character-driven story. The main reason to read this is to see what the MC does next and how he solves the usual isekai problems we see in other comics.

Which is why it's such a great read when you jump in…and also why it deteriorates as a read later on.

Unfortunately, there's only so many angles the author can make this work and, eventually, it feels like the MC is just wandering around doing things on a whim. At that point, it doesn't feel like he has a real goal as he doesn't have a way of achieving what he wants.

The story also seem to have run past its due as it had to introduce completely new worlds to create numerous random new opponents and skills. The author had to as MC completely obliterated everything else already known and already had every skill, so new powerful things had to be created for him to destroy and achieve. At that point, I decided to drop it as there's nothing else to see.

However, I still highly enjoyed this story and wholly recommend it as a read. It is a rare gem that really differentiates itself from others.

8/10 story
8/10 art
8/10 characters
8/10 overall
