Genuine answer? Because I enjoy anime lol. A 5 star to me is something I enjoyed. Something I had fun with for everything it was from start to finish. To me, whether I enjoyed it or not is more important than if it was actually "good" or not. The lower the rating the more something just didn't click with me or just found myself bored.
