Magika

This was an anime I was expecting to not like, but I was bored out of my mind one Saturday and decided to just give it a try. I was very happily surprised by how quickly I got invested into the story. its a fairly simple concept of girl wakes up on the lowest floor of a prison that's ner-escapable not because of the security but because of the criminals guarding each floor. It is certainly a darker theme then most anime today, but it manages to tell its story very well in just 12 episodes and this is an anime I can say happily, did not need another season to wrap anything up.
