Having been forced to type in a bio, I feel obliged to remark that I don't even like most anime, and ecchi/harem/isekai shows are particularly distasteful beyond reason.

At the time I really liked SAO, and to a point I still do, but my opinion has shifted a bit since then. I still like it but the series has some serious issues.
I really like the first arc of the series and I tolerate the second arc. The third arc can burn in Hell for all I care and whoever wrote it can burn along with it. It is beyond stupid and almost completely destroys the entire series.
The mini arc before the final section is utterly pointless and could be lost with no problems. The final arc is by far the best of the entire series and makes me wish the entire series was like that.
If I were to rate it today, I would no longer give it as high though for the reasons mentioned above.
And what person would look at something with 2.5 stars or 50% rating and actually have that convince them to watch it? If it’s that low it’s bad, just because it’s in the middle doesn’t mean it’s good. Look at the averages not the median in a 1-10 rating system like this.
You’re right bout the 5/10 thing (forgot this sight had a .5 rating) but 2.5 and under is definitely drop material if I enjoyed it that badly, I mean a 50% on much of anything isn’t good. Also I already told you plenty of times that I use the rating as a personal enjoyment meter and it has absolutely nothing to do with how good I objectively thing the show is. And I also told you that just because I gave it a 4 or 5 doesn’t mean I think it’s perfect by any means Log Horion is WAY to slow sometimes for example and realisticly I’d give it a 7/10 and steins gate a 8.5-10. The stars are a personal opinion on how you want to use them, the review system isn’t.
Personal Rating≠Review, a 2.5 out of 5 means it's near absolute garbage IMO (it translates to 4/10 that isn't very good). Like I said the ratings for me is my personal enjoyment (at the time so some are too high due to doing it right after watching). If I actually spent the time to review shows, I would spend more time looking into how good it actually is, verses its enjoyability. Not like anybody other than me is really going to look at my star ratings versus actual 0-10 reviews. Either way I still think your humor is kinda dull but that is also my opinion and you shouldn't change the way you think (maybe a little though lol).
