Damn it, Linky. I just saw you friended me and remembered all the fun times I spent stalking your profile (in a completely non sexual way), and apparently always forgetting to friend you. Argh....

... oh, well... now my job is much easier. :3

Hello! Just leaving comments for folks who used to have twitter accounts linked to let you know about the new/much better version of the feature: https://www.anime-planet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=197818

\r\n

We had to remove all previous twitter setups to activate the feature, so you may have noticed a 'lost twitter badge'. To re-set it up, just go to 'edit profile' and use the new 'sign in with twitter' button. Once you do, you can also opt-in (it's opt-out by default!) to automatically tweet when you do stuff on the site, like mark anime or add recommendations. If you just 'sign in' without opting in to any settings, it'll be just like before, and your feed will once again show on your profile homepage :)

Hey! I read your review on My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU and decided to watch the show considering your praise for it. I haven't watched many romcom anime so this was almost like treading into new territory, or rather a territory I haven't fully explored. For the most part, I'd have to agree, based on the typical romcom trends, this deconstruction was done very well. Hachiman's overall cynism was very relatable, and seriously funny at points. Yukinoshita's character definitely reminded me of Senjougahara. Actually, now that I think about it, a lot of the dialogue between Yukinoshita and Hachiman was reminiscent of Bakemonogatari. Not necessarily the content but the level and focus of the dialogue, namely in that they were so comically derogatory and chock full of sarcasm. It appealed to me, as I liked the monogatari series. Another thing that reminded me of bakemonogatari was that occasional hair quirk of Hachiman, shared by Araragi. But besides that, I found the series to be serious in the aspects which dealt with real teenage conflicts and situations. Great review!
