Tokyo Ghoul:re 2nd Season

Oct 26, 2019

This was... even worse than the previous season. It was way too rushed. They should have done another season or just more episodes. They didn't handle this season well. On a brighter note, the only part I enjoyed was the last episode, since a bunch of characters I actually liked were there, and Kaneki and Touka's kid as well! Though I am confused about the 64 years later part. Are years different for them than in real life? Was that ever discussed in the anime? All in all, I didn't like ANY part of this last season except for the last episode. Hell, even most of the characters sucked. Though Mutsuki... See full review

Zombie Land Saga

Oct 26, 2019

I never pictured myself getting into idol anime, but here we are. This is one of the best anime I have EVER watched. Increasing character development (except for the main guy, what was his name again?) and so much silliness! And plus, a canonly transgender younger girl! That's amazing!

My Hero Academia

Oct 26, 2019

I didn't think I'd get into this, but after my friend Marcus and my partner kept talking about it to me, I figured I'd give it a go. And now? I absolutely LOVE it! There's tons of character development, especially with 'minor' characters. Not really sure about Bakugo though. There's... literally no development. He's just angry all the time.

K-On!

Oct 26, 2019

I didn't think I'd grow so attached to the girls of K-On!, but I did! I started the show just because I was bored and looking for more anime to watch (despite my ever growing list of 'want to watch' anime). Yui and the Light Music Club are too adorable not to watch! At first, when Azusa came along, I didn't like her for the sole purpose that I thought the club was better with just the four main girls. Fortunately, after a while, I grew to like literally every single character!

Elfen Lied

Oct 26, 2019

Elfen Lied was... something else, honestly. It was spooky and dark, but I liked it. Poor Lucy didn't deserve to be treated the way she did, though. The way she would go from relentless killing machine to a clueless child cliche was amazingly written. If there was another season, I wouldn't hesitate to watch.

Ghost Stories

Oct 26, 2019

Although the original Japanese version takes a serious and sinister turn, the English dub was the reason I watched this all through. The characters were hilarious, and the 'horror' setting of it made it all the more funny. I highly recommend watching the dub if you want a comidic side of the anime. Just beware that there may be some offensive launguage and innopropriate jokes included.

Tokyo Ghoul:re

Oct 26, 2019

<div id="59229180" class="userContent"> I didn't enjoy most of this season. The new characters (except Tooru) were terrible and were never developed. Even Haise (Kaneki) was poorly written in this season. Even though I did enjoy some parts, lots of the new season were spiraling around the new characters. Tokyo Ghoul:re looked super promising for me, but all I recieved was disappointment from the characters. Though, admittedly, not as good as Tokyo Ghoul's Unravel, Asphyxia still has a beautiful yet actionlike theme to it. Every time it plays, you're bound to sing or dance along... See full review

Tokyo Ghoul √A

Oct 26, 2019

This season of Tokyo Ghoul was especially action packed and emotional, making me fall in love with the series all over again. It was overall a fantastic season, and the characters had plenty of development! I even grew to like Suzuya, whom I despised at first because he was tasked to kill Ghouls. However, I believe he's only killed Ghouls that were part of Aogiri Tree, or deadly Ghouls.

Attack on Titan: Junior High

Oct 26, 2019

A cutesy, comedic spin off of the hit anime, Attack on Titan. Though the plot and stories mainly stay the same, the Titans just want one thing: the lunches from the main characters! At first, I refused to watch this, as I figured it was stupid. I'm too judgemental, because after watching it I realized how great it actually was! It's funny and laid-back, and it's overall enjoying to watch. It let me see some of my favorite characters actually, y'know, alive. There's some nice LGBT rep in there with Ymir and Christa, too!

The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star

Oct 26, 2019

These three episode OVAs before the start of the main storyline are absolutely beautiful. The Ancient Magus' Bride has this effect on you should you watch it. It's so beautiful, and these OVAs are especially heartbreaking. They tell of one of the main characters, Chise, before she sells herself to slavery and meets Elias. The emotion and scenery in these episodes are breathtaking, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't rewatch it a few more times since its release.

The Ancient Magus' Bride

Oct 26, 2019

This is by far one of my absolute favorite anime of all time. The Ancient Magus' Bride shows magic and fantasy creatures while staying true to most of reality. The characters are lovable, and the entire plot is extremely interesting, especially towards the season finale, where shit gets real. It's full of such beautiful settings and themes, having the occasional emotional moment. Elias is somewhat problematic, but with Chise's help, he's learning the ways of humans. Just like her mentor, Chise is learning about mage magic from the bonehead Elias. But just because he's her teacher, doesn't mean she always... See full review

Attack on Titan 2nd Season

Oct 26, 2019

Though admittidly not as good as the first season, Attack on Titan Season Two did a wonderful job at showing the audience more information about the side characters, such as Christa and Ymir. Sadly, I believe this is the last time we see the freckled lesbian in the show (exception of flashbacks), which honestly made me quite upset. However, despite that, the characters got developed a lot, and I don't regret coming back after 4 years to rewatch the series.

Blend S

Oct 26, 2019

Blend S was the reason I got more into comedy anime, as I had previously focused on darker shows. The atmosphere for this particular anime was warm and welcoming as well as hilarious. The story was funny, the characters were harmless and stereotypical, and the setting was comforting. I definitely recommend this anime if you want to laugh! Admit it: most people who watched Blend S came from the meme. I know I did, but I stayed for the story. The OP, Bon Appétit S, though a hilarious meme, is actually a fun, upbeat, and comidic one. It's quite difficult to actually pass through the opening, but if... See full review

Yuri!!! on Ice

Oct 26, 2019

Ah, Yuri!!! on Ice. What a beautiful gay anime. I didn't think I'd get into the hype of this one, but I did anyway because it's gay. I love me that LGBT content haha! Anyway, I wholeheartedly LOVED this one, because of its funny characters, deep plot, and, of course, the cute Yuri. This OP will get stuck in your head from the first episode. It's a catchy tune, filling you with confidence of completing things for yourself. It's beautiful as well as motivational, and the anime just proves that History Maker was the best choice for the show's OP. After all, we were all born to make history :) Also... See full review

When They Cry: Higurashi

Oct 26, 2019

I don't remember much, but this was an anime with nothing but murder in it. I don't understand how I finished it. With its creepy, ominous vibe, Higurahi's beautiful yet terrifying OP with the same title is extremely unsettling, but you can't help but to keep listening. The song, fully titled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, is interesting in its own way. The anime along with the OP is perfect for Halloween, or just any time you want to be creeped out. The lyrics are catchy, however, and it's difficult to skip this opening.

Future Diary

Oct 26, 2019

Mirai Nikki, or Future Diary, is a well known anime because of the yandere Yuno. I honestly enjoyed watching this, especially because of the action! As much as people despise this anime, I personally think it's pretty good, for a plot. Although this anime is popular for, sometimes, negative reasons, it's impossible to skip the OP, Kuusou Mesorogiwi. It's an addicting OP, and often difficult to skip through the show. Yousei Teikoku makes it even better with her marvolous voice. It's a beautiful opening, and one where it is nearly impossible to skip.

Attack on Titan

Oct 26, 2019

Attack on Titan to me will always be one of those animes that are amazing and full of mystery. On the first episode, it throws you into the nightmare of the Titans, and they immediatly break inside the wall. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin join the Cadets to train for their attack on the titans. Soon, however, the mystery surrounding the titans and humanity begin to unfold, and the Scouts question who their real enemy is. Even if you don't necessarily like the OP, nearly every anime fan has heard it at least once. The action during the beginning is astonishing, and the animation is great. It really is a... Another

Oct 26, 2019

For a short horror anime, Another is a freakishly beautiful show. With its occasional confusion, it also has a good storyline, decent character writing, horrific scenery, and the good ol' death. Students perish left and right while the main character, Sakakibara, attempts to figure out the past of the ignored student, Misaki. But in doing so, he triggers death all around him. I won't spoil much, but the plot twist at the end makes you question the entirety of the anime as you desperately search for answers on how a semingly normal character turned out to be the cause of every tragedy.

I was browsing through some other anime when this came up on a recommendation. I clicked and watched, since it was only a minute long and I'm bored. God i wish i didnt click it. I literally feel sick to my stomach. Those with a weak stomach like me, don't watch. I'm gonna go throw up now. wish i could put 0 for the score, but 1 is the lowest it can be.

Angel Beats!

Jul 26, 2018

For one of the first anime I've ever seen, i aboslutely loved it. The story was one to easily follow, and it keeps you interested throughout the entirety of the series, instead of falling apart in the middle. It kept me intrigued the whole time, which is great. The animation was just so beautiful. The characters were likeable, and the music in the background, along with the OP and ED were simply breathtaking. Overall, definitely 9/10, as some flaws were found but I don't regret watching it. Also, if you wish to watch it, have some tissues ready, because there's some emotional twists throughout the...
