Animation is pretty amazing, I kind of like how they look like; would have love to see it somehow "normal" animation but all in all still better than nothing. I became a big fan in manga and I became thrilled that I get to see them in animation but somehow I kinda a bit dissatisfied with only 40 episodes and only for 7 min.?, they could have combine some scenes and put more. Would love to recommend it if only the each episodes are longer. Im not impressed with some of the characters though specially "Huyan Lanruo" and a bit of "Ning'er". 

The show is great and overall enjoyable. The touch of romance between characters are also very interesting though I must say it really happened so fast. The action, animation and characters are noteworthy as well. In a way it ended well but not in any kind of resolution since there’s a hint of unfinished story though the last episode might be the best one there is.

It’s easy to love the show because the characters are easy to like. The only downside of it are the way they foretell the story of two princesses. The two are the main character but it’s mostly shown on Princess Anne point of view and not the other one.  Also only Princess Anne is treated as the only Princess when its supposed to be the two of them. Besides aren’t Dragonborn supposed to be powerful, why is Princess Grea treated as a minor character without even the power and strength of a dragon. 

I love how the story unfolded apart from the part about Hanae father. There’s so much information that’s not even included in the anime. I love the Yōkai part though, the animation is so great that I wanted one as a pet.
