Similar vibes, school kids becoming killers in a survival game. I think both are a bit more creative than your stereotypical battle royale type death game show. Both have some interesting enough mysteries and the good guy bad guy roles are a bit blurred or grey. Both have that mysterious gf character that's good at killing lol. I think they're more mature than a some will give these shows credit for. Both are fun to watch and can be appreciated for what they do right, as long as proper expectations are held with respect to what they do wrong. Gleipnir is rushed, underdeveloped and unfinished, while FD is choppy and inconsistent with paint and storytelling. But I thoroughly have enjoyed both for similar reasons. I'm hoping (probably in vain) that we'll get another season of Gleipnir someday...
