Hyper Police was recommended to me on Youtube years ago, both subbed and dubbed. The Japanese cast features some famous seiyuu from Evangelion like Kotono Mitsuishi and Yuko Miyamura.
In the dub, I only recognize Dorothy Elias Fahn. Yes, Kaoru and Naru. Would be great to see Hyper Police get remade and redubbed (Dorothy should reprise her role as the white-haired demon). I can't remember which VA in America can pull off a really good demon catgirl voice.
But yeah! Pierrot doesn't put as much effort into adapting manga unless it's Naruto and Boruto.
Hello again miss and thanks for responding. I wish that GTO could have gotten a complete adaptation.
Hyper Police didn't get a complete adaptation by Pierrot either. After those two anime got adapted partially by said studio, came the Naruto favoritism. Yeah! Naruto wasn't that great.
I get the feeling Studio Pierrot only wanted to imply that there was a relationship between ichigo and kashino, to set up a possible third season. I'm not sure what stage the manga is in, but it's probably targetting the younger portion of the demographic it's written for; hence the lack of relationship development. Personally, I thought it lacked the charm the first season had, along with the informative baking tips.
I see you watched Yumeiro Patissiere and its sequel. Can you believe how bad the sequel was compared to the first season? I don't know how they couldn't script an engrossing story for thirteen episodes when the original held my attention for FIFTY.

Hello Kitsune! So what do love most about GTO?
