Well, they do say two heads are better than one...

Dunno about a new season, but I do look forward to Madoka's film trilogy, the third film in particular since the first two will be compilation films, while the third will be an all-new story. Might take a while till the third comes out though, since as you may or may not know, NisiOisin's entire Monogatari series has been green-lit for an anime adaptation by Shaft. I imagine the studio will be quite busy with all this, and whatever other projects they decide to undertake, so we'll have to wait and see when what is released when... They even pushed back Kizumonogatari (again), Bakemonogatari's prequel, which was squedueled for release this year *shakes fist* ...Oh well, maybe next year... Shinbo did say he'd like to do a second season/spin-off of Madoka as a slice of life, but I dunno...so much to do...

You downloading Saya makes me happy. Hopefully, you'll find it somewhat enjoyable as well, but no slacking on your running! I actually went out running myself today, even though I wasn't really in the mood for it. Keeping up with a workout schedule, after not having done any work out in so long, is suffering...

I actually mentioned Homunculus because I remembed you had read part of it some time ago. I think it was from one of your posts, but I can't really recall exactly... I do, however, agree it was indeed great fun. It was one of the series I looked forward to seeing new releases from the most.

She doesn't mind the wall of text, she said. Obviously I need to write more, but I'll leave it at this for now..

Well, at least you're not busy enough to not be able to watch any animu at all... That would be horrible, and will be when you get to the boxes, but I'm sure you'll manage somehow :P

My problem with Madoka was that the characters couldn't really get me to empathise with them. So when the infamous episode 3 rolled around, my reaction was something along the lines of "Ohh, neat..." ...Well, I did warm up to Homura eventually, so that made up for some of it... I actually enjoyed it slightly more the second time around when I watched it with my sister. All those hours playing Grief Syndrome might have had something to do with it... Check it out sometime if you haven't already. It's really great for a doujin game. Fairly short, but great fun nonetheless...

If you're looking for more of a mindfuck, I'd recommed giving Saya no Uta a try sometime. It came to mind since Saya's author wrote the scenario for Madoka as well... That and I've been trying to get a certain someone to read it for a while now. He'd rather sit through ecchi titles he doesn't enjoy, like Seikon no Qwaser, than give visual novels a try, even though getting all the routes in Saya would take an equal amount, or less, to the time he invested in SnQ. He's probably watching the second season right now, bastard... If you can get past a few H scenes, and don't have a great aversion towards VNs like a certain someone, it's actually a great read, imho. It's basically about a young medical student who is heavily injured in a traffic accident, in which he looses his parents. He undergoes brain surgery to save his life, but when he comes to he finds his senses are warped, causing him perceive the world as covered in guts, blood, and pulsating organs... Fun times ensue...

As for manga being more fun than anime... I think it's kind of like how books are always better than movies, or something along those lines. But it's not like there aren't incredibly disappointing manga titles out there as well... I've actually been in more of a mood for anime lately, though that mood might have shifted now with the last volume of Punpun. Ah, did you know Homunculus ended not too long ago? If there's one thing the last volume will do, is fuck with your mind. In a good way of course...

And I've basically written a huge wall of text recommending various stuff. That'll teach you to send me messages...

Hey you, long time no see!  I'm doing fine, thank you, and you too I hope. I'm assuming your thoughts drifted towards Hoshimaru because of Kyubey, right? But, really, shouldn't you be reminded more of Bokurano's Koyemshi? Though, I guess Kyubey is more cute and cuddly like Hoshimaru... Well, in any case, they're all mascots for their shows, so it all works out...

As for my profile image, it's a panel from Oyasumi Punpun by Asano Inio. It's funny you should ask this because a new volume just came out today. I must way that's some great timing on your part.
