Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer

This anime was amazing. I don't know how they did it, but they messed up in every possible way they could. The visuals/animation were bad, the sound/voice acting was bad (despite it being full of talented VAs), the story was horrendous, the characters were mostly unlikable and one note, the pacing was all over the place, hell even the action was terrible. There is absolutely nothing good about this anime and I'm actually impressed. I heard the manga was good, but I'm not even sure I believe that anymore, unless they took absolutely nothing from the manga when making this anime. In all fairness, there are... See full review

Peach Boy Riverside

Before you watch it, know that the episodes are nonsensically and randomly out of order. It is incredibly jarring so check wikipedia for the episode order, if you want to get any enjoyment out of this anime. Would normally rate it a 4/5(ish), but since the director insisted on airing it out of order, it gets a 1/5. I believe in respecting the director's vision and this "director's" vision deserved a 1. I will say that at least the production staff deserve some praise. Some other complaints: Added unnecessary ecchi scenes. The final episode (chronologically) was extremely dumbed down... The one positive I can say about this adaptation is that the battles mostly looked good (although at low frame rates). Now buckle up for the bad... - The animation and art constantly fluxuates from good to bad, so its overall very inconsistent.  - The sound was mostly horrible (whoever did the sound mixing was likely an amateur or working on a very low budget), voice acting was mostly horrible (again amateurish, if I had to guess they recorded their lines without knowing the context) and music was mostly enjoyable (albeit nothing memorable).  - The story and characters are more or less fine... I'm Standing on a Million Lives

Let me start off by saying, if you found the concept of the anime in any way interesting, you should read the manga instead.  This is by far the worst adaptation I've seen in years. For starters the 12 episode anime covered the first 12 chapters of the manga, basically doing the same thing One Piece does, but the difference is the OP anime has been going on for years and has caught up to the manga a long time ago, hence the padding, but this one's manga is so far ahead of the anime that there was no possible way it would have caugh up with it. Its clear that hey just wanted to adapt the first arc... See full review
