I don't really have a favorite anime, I love different ones depending on my mood.  Maybe some of the shows I've loved will be of interest to you?  My highest rated anime shows so far are (alphabetical list):

The Boy and The Beast

Doukyuusei

Eve no Jikan Movie (the movie includes the entire series plus additional footage)

Fullmetal Alchemist / Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Hotarubi no Mori e

My Love Story!!

Nodame Cantabile

Steins;Gate

Trigun

Wolf Children

Yuri on Ice!!!

Kawaiinekogirl says...  Hi how are you? I'm good hope you are to. Umm do you have any suggestions of good anime to watch I really want some new ones. I love anime especially romance anime. I hope we can be good friends!!! 😃

Hi!  I wanted to make some suggestions to you, so I went to check your anime list to see what you've already seen and what you've rated highly and liked, and also what you've rated low ratings that you didn't really enjoy that much, because that would help me to make recommendations to you.

But you don't have an Anime List yet!

Si, I very much urge you to create an Anime List for yourself.  It's a great way to keep track of the things you have seen. Why, you ask?

Well, first of all, it lets you keep track of what episode you are on while you are watching, so you don't have to wait until you finish to add it to the list. Second, the shows can easily be sorted by various criteria.  You can, for instance, arrange the titles alphabetically, or by how old the anime is (or newest to oldest), or by highest rated (using either your ratings - the ratings that you are able to add to show what you think of a specific title - or the site's rating, which is an average rating from all the ratings site users have given a show.)

Note that if you add ratings to the shows on your list, there are several benefits.  Your rating can help you to remember more clearly just how a show made you feel.  I often remember scenes and parts of an anime I was thinking about when I was deciding what rating to give it, and looking at my rating brings those memories to the front of my mind.  Also, when you add a rating, your score is added into the site average, making it an even more accurate representation of what viewers felt about a show.  Last, but not least, adding a rating lets others know how YOU felt, paving the way for discussions with others on the site.  Like discussions of favorite anime shows with others, or aiding someone in making a personal recommendation for you (since they will have some idea by looking at your ratings, of the kinds of things you liked and disliked.)

You can sort by status, and filter the list to show you only one criterion; for instance, show you only the shows you have completed, or only the shows you are currently in progress in watching.  Or show you only the romances on your list. Or action-adventure shows. Or comedies. You choose your filter!

Third, you can make note of future titles you hear about that sound interesting that you don't want to forget about, by marking them as Want To Watch. Or mark notes to yourself about shows you hear about that you NEVER want to watch or get involved with!

Also, the site makes recommendations to you about shows you might want to watch or check out, and those suggestions become more accurate (more attuned to your personal tastes) when you create an Anime List, especially one with ratings.  The site also can make comparisons easily, so you can compare your list with another member's.

Last, creating a list will enable the site to give you a "Life on Anime" bar, a fun depiction of how much time you have spent watching anime.  It may surprise you when you see all those hours added together, what the total looks like!

And, I'm sure there are loads of other good reasons to create a list, but these are some of the reasons that matter to me.  I know I am ALWAYS using/referring to my own list.
