I already know Aarni and Umbra Nihil! :P They are both very good! Aarni is pretty unique! For the others, I have no idea what they are but I will know soon for sure! There is just Longing for Dawn that I heard this name before...
And for the neo-classical one, the music I listen to doesn't need to be dark at all! XD Do you know Harmonium (My avatar) ? It's just about emotions! For me, it's THE band with the purest emotions... Perfection made human... Personally... It's symphonic prog with folk elements and it's from Quebec... The only band that makes me cry... But probably that it will not do the same thing to you... Well... You could listen to Histoire Sans Paroles (intrumental, 17 minutes)...
I just discovered a new funeral doom metal band from... Montréal! :P It was by coincidence and I was thinking about if there were any doom metal bands from Quebec... So, this band is Cortisol! http://www.myspace.com/cortisoldoom

I discovered a lot of other bands too... And an other pretty extreme band (Stalaggh) but it's not doom metal and... I discovered, most of the time, funeral doom, drone doom and sludge/doom bands...
Do you have good classical in mind to recommande to me...? I would like to know more this genre of music! :P

I'm active here, but the forums are intimidating.... tooooo many new posts each day, it's grown too large to follow.... I just lose the will to post when I see the tempo with which the new posts appear :)
Thanks for the dropping by to see where I went ^_^ Real life interferes, unfortunately. I've hit one time-consuming crisis after another... every time I think I'm clear, something else comes up! And my laptop died, so I didn't have access 'on-the-go' anymore (though I just got my new one this weekend). AND I've realized that once you're out of the forums for awhile, it takes a lot of time reading old posts to catch back up! So many people join! Which is awesome, but kind of crazy to keep up with. There seems to have been a coffee cult formed while I was gone... I wonder where I sign up... ^_^
So that's my saga. I do hope to get back into the forums eventually - right now I'm in introvert recharge mode with the little bit of free time I have. I can't quite handle any more human conversation! Hahahaha I'm so pathetic! ^_^ Anyway, thanks again for the comment. Hopefully I'll get back in the groove soon. Then you'll probably be saying "geez, I wish that crazy girl would just go away again!" ^_~
