I actually have Animal Crossing New Leaf. I just haven't played it in a long time. I'll have to see what my friend code is so you can add me.

TWGOK isn't haremy or pervy -- at least, not that I remember. But I wouldn't have liked it so much if it was. It starts out with that sort of premise, but it almost deconstructs that trope. And the main character is a dick in the beginning, but he gets better.

Re said he'd consider rewatching Tsuritama with me, so we might do that in the near future.

As far as Re:Zero vs. March...it's up to you I guess? But if you're enjoying Hikaru no Go, March is similar in terms of the board game theme and the slowish pace, so if that's what you're in the mood for, I say that one. It's the more chill/calm of the two, while Re:Zero is more exciting/cliffhanger-y.

Thanks for the recs! I definitely want to watch Nana already -- I read the first volume of the manga and I really liked it. I want to watch the anime, but I haven't yet. Re won't watch it with me because it doesn't have an ending or something.

Tokyo Magnitude sounds interesting. It sounds a lot like Grave of the Fireflies. Honestly, Grave of the Fireflies was almost overwhelmingly depressing. Like, emotionally draining. That's why I didn't rate it higher. But I can appreciate the art and the sentiment and the historical significance, etc.

I remember a lot of people saying good things about Tsuritama when it came out, and Re said it was good. Just didn't interest me, I guess? But maybe I'll look more into it.

I looked at Yona of the Dawn and it seems like a feudal/samurai type thing, almost, which I can never get into. I dunno. :p

And Jyo Oh Sei just looks weird. I can't tell if that's in a good way or not. Lol.

Here are some recs for you:

A Silent Voice. Emotional, cute and romantic. I don't think I've seen/heard of an anime about a deaf person before this? But her voice actor is amazing.

FLCL. Random, fast-paced, and funny. Re said you'd probably like it.

The World God Only Knows. Re said you tried to watch it and gave up, but I promise it's good! I like a lot of the characters. And the main character reminds me of Re.

March Comes In Like a Lion. Re said he recommended this to you like a million times, but I'm gonna do it again because it's SO GOOD. It's one of my favorite anime ever, and it demonstrates depression really well. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because the last few episodes weren't as magnificent as the rest of them.

Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World. Re said you really liked Erased and this is similar in terms of time travel. Dude gets sucked into a world where every time he dies, he "resets" back to a certain point. A lot of fantastical elements and suspense.

Bonus: School of Rock. Not a typical Jack Black movie. Sincerely good and funny. I promise.

My understanding is that the anime are advertisements for the games, and the anime should be considered as spinoffs. My best friend stated that the games are excellent, and the stories work better as video game plots. I haven't had the opportunity to prove this, and I've heard many people complain about the quality of the anime. I may watch Unlimited Bladeworks, but that's going to be a long time in the future. I wouldn't proceed with the rest of F/Z if you feel indifferent now.

At least you wrote a fair review of F/Z, good job.

I think I tried making some before but I was too indecisive to make any final decisions about what should be on them, lol. Do you have any suggestions?
