Aug 20, 2010If you are a real zombie fan and looking into seeing an anime that is all about zombies, gore, and survival...Look elsewhere. This anime is not about the zombies. It seems the artist was so concentrated on making this as close to a hentai as possible without classifying it as such. Every five seconds (no joke, I'm being literal) there is some kind of ecchi scene. It is really annoying, frustrating, and ruins the hell out of the anime.Not to mention that there are some scenes in which are unrealistic to fighting, but that's not too uncommon in anime's so I won't rate it for that...It's just all the damned ecchi. So if you're looking for zombies, not ecchi, then yeah this is not the anime for you.

Pretty sure you missed the point, and if you can find me ANOTHER zombie anime, even one half as good, be my guest. Like this person above me said, you saw one panty shot and condemned the anime from then on. Of course you forget to mention the insanity which ensues, the truely horrific atmosphere, the grueseome zombies and the violence and gore which entail for them all, not to mention this thing is shot for shot almost a perfect remake (if not better) then the manga, and I haven't seen truely scary zomvies like this since Romero's original zombies, so know your source material before you review something.
I dun understand one thing, every time people see explicit ecchi content in an anime they go like "ok this is all for fan-service". No you're absolutely wrong, this anime isn't about fan-service only, its one of those animes that takes and combines alot of genres and ties them up toghether in a briliant show. Be it, gore, horror, supernatural, drama, romance, morbid comedy, fan-service, etc this one focuses on all. The problem is with you since you can't see beyond the fan-service aspect of this show. Nevertheless this is one of those shows which is concidered better than the manga (which happens in very rare cases), critics, reviews, comments of ordinary people and of people that work in the anime industry said the same thing. This show unlike many others is suitable for almost all tastes, die-hard romantics, drama kings/queen's, horror/gore fans, supernatural nerds, and ecchi freaks, mainly because of what i said above, even military nerds since this has an military alike organization, close range fighters, in-between range fighter, ranged fighter, medical unit and strategist. What more can you ask for an anime to be good?
