same here I like the detective with the action genre, and what I like more about the anime is the two main characters have a different personality on top of that they have to work together maybe that's why I ship them I don't know lol XD yes who's bottom and top in your opinion hmmm*Smirk*? I cross finger for some fanservice and bromance moment too in the next episodes !!
don't worry they will be plenty of doushinji out there after a while trust me were not the only who's dreaming XD and yes there is official art about the anime gives you the vibe of BL manga cover loll and it will work 100% even there is a meme about it I laughed hard after I see it XD I will put it at the end of the comment

I suck at giving recommendations but I'll try hahaha I recommend Back to School, King's Maker, Nevermore, Fate Makes no Mistakes, Twittering Birds Never Fly and The God of Pain's Groom. I also recommend Given, both manga and anime.

As for non BL, I have pratically not read anything but from what I've read I suggest Bungo Stray Dogs and Black Butler! Anime I suggest are Bungo Stray Dogs, Attack On Titan, Death Note and Tokyo Ghoul (the first 2 season, the rest you can pretend it doesn't exist cause it sucks).
I certainly need to read/watch a lot more until I can give proper recommendations hahaha
