The juxtaposition of being a hardcore ex-gangster and a dedicated househusband is great! This anime is hilarious, drawn well, and engaging with little conflict. I would recommend giving this a try if the premise sounds interesting to you at all.

I like everything about this one. The characters are engaging and unique. The animation is pretty. There is humor and a story without much conflict. There is even a bit of focus on food, a personal favorite. These are all positive things to me and done well, yet I find myself stalling on this one quite a bit. I will watch a few episodes and then stop .... for months.... it's been over six months since I have watched this at all. For this reason, I am giving it a six instead of higher. 

I found this to be a really great food anime. I was hesitant at first due to the animation style. I tend to like really pretty animation. This one is in the older style similar to its predecessor that came out in the late 90s. It won me over with its characters and plot. This is a food anime that keeps it focus on food while adding in layers of story. 

Super creative anime looking at the inner workings of the body. Less fun and heartwarming than the original Cells at Work. 

I like everything about this one. The characters are engaging and unique. The animation is pretty. There is humor and a good story. These are all really important things to me and done well, yet I find myself stalling on this one quite a bit. I will watch a few episodes and then stop .... for months.... it's been over a year since I have watched this at all. For this reason, I am giving it a six instead of higher. 

Generally, I am a big fan of food anime. This one is a decent one. The focus is on the food and restaurant more than the characters. The animation style is nice. There is little to no conflict. While it isn't bad, there are shows similar that I like better such as Isekai Izakaya: Koto Aitheria no Izakaya Nobu.

This is great!!! The name had me hesitant, but this is one of those shows that I can’t wait for the next episode to air. The second I finish one episode I am ready for the next. This is my favorite new new anime. It is a shounen with diplomacy over fighting at its heart. Check this one out.

At first I abandoned this anime, but I'm glad I gave it a second try. This is a very cute and fluffy anime. There is t much conflict and the characters are kind, good people. This isn't the most gripping show however it is a cute love story when you want a sugary sweet. 

Let me start by saying I knew none of the history of this movie. My husband found it at Dollar Tree, and it looked interesting. At first I was really into the film. The animation is wonderful! It is gritty and beautiful and perfect. Apparently it is very throwback in style, however this was lost on me as someone who just has a passing interest in the genre. The music was also wonderful. Both really created an atmosphere that had me excited to see the film.

Absolutely love this anime. The culinary tips and tricks are sound. The similes to describe the food are hilarious. The characters are endearing. I have nothing bad to say about this show. 

This anime is really unique and enjoyable. The animation is up to par with all of TVTokyo's work. They capture all of the classic dog behaviors and translate them perfectly to fit the lives of warlords. It is hilarious and worth a try if you are on the fence or undecided. 

This is great!!! I am so happy for more to the "...Reincarnated...Slime" story line. It is a shounen with diplomacy over fighting at its heart which I love. These fun 23 minute OVAs fare a nice addition as we wait for another season. 

I found this anime boring for me, but it is great to have on for my nieces and nephews or son. It doesn’t matter if they can read or not because it is so cute to look at and easy to follow the story visually.

I wanted to like this anime more than I did. The characters were kind of lulled in the beginning and then developed a bit more. It wasn’t anything too substantial. The fight scenes were ok. The sexual situations were overplayed. It was ok. I liked the character of the Demon Lord. If you have time, this is an okay watch.

This anime starts out with what you believe to be an action packed anime. In reality it is more of a psychological who-done-it. I really enjoyed the series whoever if you are looking for a monster killing anime, this isn’t it. The ending is a slight cliffhanger yet I haven’t seen another season come out. Hopefully the story continues. If you like a good mystery with some cool fight scenes, then check out this anime.

I enjoyed the three minute shorts that use the same characters under the title "Japari Park" better because they function as a brain break whereas these episodes drag a bit. If the synopsis sounds interesting, give it a try.

One of my favorite studio Ghibli films now that I have seen it. Imaginative and fun with a compelling story.
