Attack on Titan

Jan 14, 2022

When AOT started i didnt really like it.

Finally after all these years i managed to read manga, because i couldnt wait to see the end. I must say that, not everyone will probably like the ending. I am a bit disappointed but overall i kinda understand it and overall i like it. This review is based on my point of view and my kokoro ♥.

ALSO MAPPA MEMBERS REST MORE PLEASE. WE SAW THOSE PANDA BLACK CIRCLES AROUND UR EYES GUYS - REST FIRST THEN MAKE BOMB WORK.

STORY

I think its pretty unique, i was waiting for some anime/manga that is quite rough, tuff. Over these years i saw more harem anime/manga than horror and was waiting for something like this. The towns between walls, outside world of titans, brainwashing made this anime/manga as nice medium rare menu. I adore the tiny stuffs such as nature, birds, buildings - these details made the atmosphere (very romantic). I also liked the contrast of the outside world, that we could see much bigger picture than it was. I must say that i couldnt develop any relationship or bonding w characters, i mean i like them at some point, but its not like that i would cry when someone died. ( Good example, Itachi army UwUh) overall i felt lots of emotions starting from love for chibi captain to feeling betrayed by humans.

TRIGGERED FANS / CANCEL CULTURE  zZzZz

There was lots of conspiracy theories, ideas and sh*t that later on in AOT there are similiarities with WW1/2. I am from Europe, i live in country that was affected by it. I must say that it didnt make me mad nor triggered to see the similiarites. We see many movies, serials etc. based on this genocide. Its quite the opposite i liked to see that it can be put in Anime/Manga world, its educative. We can see the clear message of this anime/manga - but ill leave it to you to read it first and find out. Finally anime/mangas are getting more freedom and taking something from our real world to world thats full of fantasy ? Yea, pretty much okay with me duh.

ART / CHARACTERS

I have to put it together.

Obviously on beginning of manga - is not gud but not terrible. I really liked to see the progress that Hajime-senpai did in his drawings and ideas. It was very refreshing, there is lots of animes/mangas that have for example similiar eyes, hairstyles etc. or everyone has to be pretty and sh*t. Here we can see that not only pretty shonen boys exists or women. It was more like a real life, which also added points to rating. The thing that i disliked or had issues with is that sometimes i mistaken Sasha for Hange or Annie with Krista - in manga yes, if these girls are my twins im bad momma. Also what the F is that Mikasa body builder BOOST DUH I WAS SCREAMIINNNN.....

SHOULD YOU READ IT/ WATCH IT??

Definitely if you want something fresh and new. First season might not hype you that much but once u learn every detail in the story you cant stop reading/watching. If you are someone who accepts any ending that mangaka/author choose then its definitely for you.

I think ending was a bit rushed. I understand many people wanted the charas to die but after all i wished to especially these characters to find the freedom they seek. I understood Erens message, because it was his free will/idea and personal freedom. I also understand he turned to sussy baka for Mikasa in the end, because after he kissed Historias hand he distanced himself, he went against his feelings for her, so he deserved the time to be sussy baka. I also understand that stuff w Ymir and Mikasa legacy, it was good closure for the titans after all. Ending is pretty much 9/10 for me. I could see some better ending, but i am totally fine with this.

9/10 story
10/10 art
9/10 characters
10/10 overall
