Aug 6, 2018I've only watched 2 episodes, so keep that in mind, but the story just appears to be bland, and quite stupid. Everyone takes stuff so literal...

Yeah I agree. These sorts of interactions are just super annoying to watch personally. In reality they're pretty useless interactions too as they are quite repetitive so they don't even work as comedy-relief or any form of development.
That got me a bit discouraged too, but the rest of the episodes are a bit better. I liked the anime because it wasn't incredible and it wasn't just mediocre so i felt that it was a good waste of time. Also, for every bit of story that the beginning episodes don't have, the last 2 episodes have in excess. Just found it funny how it goes from dry to super confusing with the amount of useless lore they throw at you. Still if you have free time on your hands it's not a terrible filler if you ask me.
