The Ancient Magus' Bride

Apr 9, 2018

The Ancient Magu’s Bride is a masterpiece, one of the greatest anime I’ve seen in a long time. It’s one of the best anime of 2017, and so far one of the best anime of 2018, too. I wish it aired earlier in the year so I would’ve completed it sooner. In this post I plan on going in depth analyzing the story, characters, and themes. Aspects of the show such as animation, art, music, and voice acting will not be discussed, although they are also amazing. Also, while it should go without saying, this is going to be an in depth analysis, so there will be spoilers, you have been warned. The... See full review

New Game!

Jan 17, 2018

For those of you who haven't read my reviews before, le tme just say th at there will be spoilers, so read at your own risk.

Back in 2014 Shirobako struck the anime community. One of the most polarizing anime in recent memory, it received mcuh praise for probably begin the first anime to delve deep into the anime industry and what creators have to go through to produce the anime we love. I was bored when I first watched the show weekly, but recently re-watched it all at once, and I found it much more enjoyable; it’s the prime example of an anime that suffers in quality if it’s... Devilman: Crybaby

Jan 17, 2018

For those of you who haven't read my reviews before, I want to say that there are major spoilers included, so read at your own risk. Also, this isn't going to be an overall review of every aspect of the show, but what I felt to be the overall point. With that being said, let's get to it.

The original Devilman manga created by the legendary Go Nagai in 1972 is one of the most influential manga of all time, up their with works by the great Osamu Tezuka as to how much he’s inspired, even allowing other influential anime to be brought to life. Without Devilman you would have no eclipse... See full review

King's Game

Dec 20, 2017

I'm gonna write another quick review here.  I watched 2 episodes and dropped it.  That's not because it's bad, however.  I mean, it is bad.  It's awful.  It's godawful.  But that's what makes it so good.  It reminded me of The Lost Village.  I actually did research to see if these were made by the same people, but they weren't; still, I do believe that they were both made with the same mindset, creating garbage, or perhaps you could say parodies of horror, suspense, thriller anime.  I only recommend it if you want to see an intentionally, hilariously horrible... A Sister's All You Need

Dec 18, 2017

I just watched the first episode of this, dropped it, and wanted to write a quick review. I liked the first few minutes, and no, it's not for the reason you think. While I can understand that there are people who would hate it due to it's blatant portrayal of incest with no lead in or anything, that's the reason I liked it. It cut straight through the bullshit and when over the top with the incest, which to me made it kind of entertaining. And I think having it turn out to be a fantasy was kind of clever too, because it perfectly introduced us to this perverted main character. Unfortunately, the rest... See full review

Little Witch Academia

Oct 27, 2017

Quick warning, there may be major spoilers in this review, so read at your own descrecion.   Little With Academia, has to be, by far, the best show Studio Trigger ever created.  It should be noted I’m not a big fan of Studio Trigger and by proxy Studio Gainax, only a handful of their shows peeking my interest, such as When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace, Gurren Lagan, Panty & Stocking w/Garterbelt, and, to a much lesser extent, Neon Genesis Evangelion.  But Little Witch Academia impressed me on so many levels I don’t even know where to begin.  Think... Toradora!

Oct 27, 2017

Quick warning, there may be major spoilers in this review, so read at your own descrecion.   Toradora is a masterpiece.  That’s not a word I throw around often, but it’s truly deserving here.  In fact, it might be my favorite romance anime, a genre that I’m unashamingly a huge fan of.  Ryuji takasu is a highschool boy who people fear because of his eyes which makes him look like a thug.  Taiga Aisaka is a teenage girl who lives alone; her nickname is the palmtop tiger, due to her hair-triggered temper, and violent nature.  Ryuji is in love with... Hikaru no Go

Oct 27, 2017

Quick warning, there might be major spoilers in this review, so read at your own desecration.
Welcome to a new show on my channel called Anime Favorites, where go in depth analyzing some of my favorite anime series of all time! First on my list is Hikaru no Go, a 75 episode Shonen, Sports, Tournament, Coming-of-Age anime series from 2001. First I wanna say, I really wish I watched this when I was a kid. It has a lot of that classic Shonen feel, and honestly, it’s far better than most of them. The story revolves around Hikaru Shindo, a middle school boy who finds a Go board in his... See full review
