eh, it's still okay but compared to the game it's pretty bland and rushed, and i don't like the voice actors of the dub at all (haven't seen it in japanese yet). especially monokuma's voice just doesn't suit his character at all. if they'd tried to get all the game's voice actors for this and they made this a longer anime, it could've been really good. i'm not the kinda person to shit on adaptations just cause i like the original more, it genuinely just wasn't executed that well and it had a lot of potential to be better. i mean seriously, what were they thinking wrapping this long ass game into only 12 episodes? it's like how they did the same with 14 volumes of tokyo ghoul. it just doesn't work cause too much gets left out and everything feels forced. i'd still recommend it to people who don't like gaming or long stories, i'd rather have people like the animation than having never experienced danganronpa at all. but if you do have time .. just play the games. i promise you won't regret it. you get to know the characters and the story a lot better and this anime just doesn't completely have the danganronpa vibe, if that makes sense
