I think you got your views wrong on what a tsunderes actually is " Tsundere is a Japanese term for a character development process that depicts a character with a personality who is initially cold, stern, stoic, harsh, temperamental, hotheaded before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time. The word is derived from the terms tsun tsun and dere dere."
I certainly found her annoying too at the start but in a sense she wants to protect him to make sure her one close family member is safe. Its like living alone in a dark hole most of your life just to have that 1 person that came in to turn around and leave. At the start she was annoying but after understanding her i started to feel for her and the hardships she had to endure. In the end even the mc aknowledged his mistake and both are close now. So in a sense theres nothing to dislike about her now, both aknowledged each others suffering and started to see each other diffrent and became close.
Anyhow thats my opinion of it, idk if you continued reading or not but i am at latest now and i am loving the brother/sister pair.
No she tried to ask him multiple times but he never answered, he always thought of her as a kid and never revealed his experience and pain to her. Also think about it, shes been all alone since a child an orphan from as little as 5, having to build everything herself without any help. Did you or did mc think of how much she had to suffer? Sure mc suffered more but thats not an excuse to totally close off yourself from your 1 remaining family member who believed in him to one day return.
