Anime that brought Feels

Anime that wrought feels upon my cold heart, to the best of my knowledge(hey im forgetful). They have had at least one "feels" moment. If you want to awaken your cold, dead, rotten, small, icy, organ once called a heart look no further. (The list is in no particular order)

29 Dusk Maiden of Amnesia

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia

The very last episode, you know it has to end like that.

the very last few minutes I didn't like, I felt like they should have ended it a few minutes sooner. Can't say much without spoilers

30 Alderamin on the Sky

Alderamin on the Sky

it tries to be light at times but deep down its gritty, its real. You become attached to the characters, they each have their own personality, their not completely shallow their real, and their in a war...

31 Made in Abyss

Made in Abyss

I cannot begin to describe how beautiful this anime is. It has a beautiful world with depth to it. No pun intended. It has 'cutesy' deceiving artwork. This is one of the darkest things i have ever watched. From the beginning you get an idea of how it is going to be. An Abyss, a pit that once you go down far enough you dont come back. A girl who is fascinated with said abyss. Just when you think it can't get darker it manages to get oh so much darker. There were times i was cringing, there are times i had tears in my eyes. It is rare to find something that can manipulate your emotions to the extent this one does.

32 Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

i heard rumors this one was famous for making grown men cry. Those rumors turned out to be true. I turned this one with the intent of playing a game and watching it in the background. I got engrossed in it, and the next thing i know ive binged the whole thing and my face is wet.

33 Grave of the Fireflies

Grave of the Fireflies

a sprisingly dark gem from studio ghibli. The beginning and the end brought feels, while the middle connected the two.

34 Fate/Apocrypha

Fate is very character based. You get to know the characters, good and evil is often blurred. You know what the end has in store the moment you start, but it's hard to not sympathize with the characters, with the heroes.

35 Re:Creators

I think for some people this show will be hit or miss. Me, I enjoyed it. The feels really hit at the end, they aren't as strong as other shows but the feels are there

36 No Game No Life: Zero

No Game No Life: Zero

This is a truly beautiful movie, a masterpiece. You are missing out if you do not watch it. You do not need to watch the TV show, it helps a little in the beginning and end but for the most part the story is standalone.

I have not felt feelings this strong in a long time. It was raining indoors, water magically manifesting in my eyes. The feels are real. They are like being hit by a brick. They hurt and sting for awhile, and then you get hit by an even bigger bricks and the next thing you know you have had tears built up for the last 20 minutes (not joking on that part). The little shrivelled black husk that was once called a heart is truly feeling for the first time in a long while.

Darling in the FRANXX has its similarities with Neon Genesis Evangelion. Similiar themes, and even scenes that were almost a mirror image. The big difference between the two that i found was that you get attached to the characters. In Evangelion you see the characters develop, but i found i was observing them, and did not form an attachment to them. In FRANXX you become attached to the characters, with your opinion shifting as the characters suffer and develop, hating the characters you liked and liking the characters you hate. With the introduction of the beautiful Zero Two i was smitten, i did not know such a character could exist. I can't say much, except that a lot unfolds over 24 episodes with many feels along the way. the ending was perfect, and to avoid spoilers i cant say more.

39 Charlotte

This anime holds a special spot, it was airing my first semester in college. I never watched it then, but i never forgot about it. It has always been lurking in the back of my mind when i was looking for stuff to watch. Fast forward to my last semester, 3 and a half years later and i finally decided to watch it.

I watched it because i was looking for something calmer and i thought it was going to be a normal happy school setting with some superpowers and flair. No tears, just shenanigans. Well i got both. The show is a rollercoaster where you are often unsure of what is going to happen next. Around halfway through the tone shifts and the feels kicked it into high gear. Even thought i felt like the story was convoluted at times it was still perfect. Even the ending was perfect. The ending stung, i find those types of endings really sad. You will have to watch it to see what type of ending i am talking about. I cry everytime.

There are so many shows that i pass over thinking they will not be good. I'm glad i finally experienced this.

40 your name.

your name.

i could have sworn i added this to my list with a nice long description. Anyways: beautiful movie, theres a reson its currently the 2nd top rated show. I had feels for the last 30 minutes of the movie. Watch it.

41 A Silent Voice

A Silent Voice

42 I Want to Eat Your Pancreas

I Want to Eat Your Pancreas

I enjoyed your name and a silent voice more than this, but this was still a top notche movie. There were still feels moments.

43 Violet Evergarden

Violet Evergarden

44 Castlevania Season 2

Castlevania Season 2

I liked this. I felt. I havent felt in awhile.

ive noticed lately i have a thing about unrequited love, for some reason that brings me feels. This may or may not be the case for this wonderful gem. Youll have to watch and find out.

46 Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel I. presage flower

Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel I. presage flower

the fate series is intimidating at times with all the series and spinoffs. You cab't really go wrong with any of the series, but the heaven's feel route is one of the best

47 Sword Art Online: Alicization

Sword Art Online: Alicization

SAO is hit and miss sometimes. Some people like it, some despise it. Some people might have feels, some might not. So far i've enjoyed all the adaptations i've watched, and usually they can wring out a feel or two. It is usually only once or twice, but it happens so it goes to the list.

48 Full Metal Panic!

Full Metal Panic!

This was more of a comedy, but it does have its more sad moments with the mech/military part of the show. Feels kicked in a little the past few episodes, nothing major, but it was there

49 Parasyte -the maxim-

Parasyte -the maxim-

A few points.

50 Plastic Memories

Plastic Memories

ill be honest, i havent watched anything lately that brings feels. I knew how this was going to end. I knew it was going to end like this from episode 1. But i still cried. I havent felt this way in awhile.

Update: I keep coming back to the last episode. It hurts. it makes me feel.
