I'm just your average anime-loving man. I'm not too picky about what I watch, but that's not to say I don't have standards. I have a great distaste for anything with excessive ecchi scenes or unnecessary fanservice so don't expect to see a lot of Harem anime in my watchlist. I also don't really like Isekai either, but that's mostly because I haven't found any good ones yet. Let me know of any titles that might change my mind. I do, however, have a soft spot for shounen anime, especially Naruto, which holds a special place in my heart as the first anime I watched, and what got me into the genre. Since then, I've watched a lot of other "classics" that I've really enjoyed, like "Hunter X Hunter" and "One Piece," as well as some more recent ones like "My Hero Academia," "Attack on Titan," and "Noragami." Deviating from the path of shounen, I found a lot of other really good ones that I've filed away in my favorites. Adventure and fantasy anime like "Tales of Zestiria the X" and "Fate Zero," comedies like "One Punch Man," action-packed bundles of awesome like "Black Rock Shooter," emotional rollercoasters like "Charlotte" and "A Silent Voice" (both courtesy of my older brother who reccommended them), and some that I can't even classify like "Durarara" and "Baccano." I've recently developed a liking for horror anime as well, since they're oftentimes really interesting and well put together... and downright creepy. "Shiki" is my favorite in that genre as of now. I tried watching "When They Cry" but I didn't understand it at all. I'll probs give it another go sometime, who knows. Outside of anime, I have a wide variety of things I like to do, including drawing, airsoft, video games, (especially JRPGs. My favorite franchises are Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, and Xenoblade Chronicles in case you're curious), and just chillin' with my buddies. I'm interested in possibly going into voice acting as a career (I watch most of my anime dubbed. Fight me!) or potentially 2D animation or stop-motion filming. Currently, I am trying to get myself to read more since I don't do that nearly enough.
