(Contains Implied Spoilers) I really like the idea of a gay man falling for a straight man and not immediately being attracted to them after a confession. They both struggle to make the relationship work out for them and tried many different things before crumbling. This takes on a new perspective of a straight guy turning gay because sometimes we forget that this is the biggest shook to a straight male finding love in another male, it's hard to swallow and you need time to adapt. I think the story did a great job of showing this perspective. The characters where unique which I adore, you can easily identify their characteristics from one another their not perfect and both have fatal flaws but they make it work not the standard perfect couple. I found that the main lead was extremely funny and stupid he made me laugh a few times through out the book but also made me want to strangle him to death at the same time. However, I do wish their was more character development for the main lead but I can't expect an idiot to turn into a genius is a few chapters, though the way they progressed was well paced and well developed. Overall, the story wasn't complicated but in depth and the characters bounce off each other like rubber and everything was realistic (considering the characters personality) nothing was outrageous or too forced, I felt that this could indeed happen in real life, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys this type of novel. It really changed my perspective on a straight man turning gay.
