Oh? I wish I could ask more about that self help conditioning myself, honestly. It's a process for me to turn my life around as well. Two things that I've cut out are irc and a lot of anime. I watch when I have nothing else to do, but not nearly as much as I used to. Is this the same novel that you asked me to check a while back or something different?

Life isn't always as straight and seamless for some. For example, I've been in and out of school the past few years. But I'm slowly chipping away at my credits. Some people just go through different things, so don't feel too bad that you "wasted' a year. Stuff happens. As long as you're continuing toward your goal. That's what really counts :)
You're novel idea is intriguing. Sounds like it's going to be epic. Try not to repeat the same words too much though. Find other words that describe the same thing. Like mundane could also be described as ordinary.
