One thing I've learned is it doesn't even matter if your preferences match with other people, everyone just likes what they like. That's why they're called preferences or opinions and it doesn't matter since they're all subjective. That's good you don't think like that anymore though.

I really love Assassination Classroom, it's turned into one of my favorites because it's so enjoyable and every character has their own story and develops in such a satisfying way. It's really great and I'm going to miss it so much when it ends in a few weeks... .-.

Yeah I think it was Lelouch at the end as well, there's a lot of evidence that points toward it. I hate when they leave something open-ended though, I want concrete evidence!! x0

My comments are mostly from people replying to my greetings, and there are a few people like you who I have ongoing conversations with. Don't worry about your english either, I can understand your comments just fine and mistakes always happen so it's really no big deal ^^ Haha it's not really as bad as it seems, replying to everyone's comments just takes time is all

So, another long delay before I got to giving you a reply. So another apology from me.  I don't know how I end up getting so busy - I plan to do things, and before I know it, WEEKS have gone by and I still haven't done the planned activity.  Sheesh! LOL

Henexic says...  [RE: Neverending WtW List]   You are right, I have to be less excited with the new anime shows. The problem is that I am like a kid, when I see something that catches my attention, I start to be excited about this xD. Personally, I love that but it's true that i hate have too much animes/manga (more anime that manga, I can read so fast that :p) WtW.

\r\n

I gave up on trying to limit my WtW a long time ago.  Hey, if I want to watch it, I want to watch it.  And I don't want to forget about it, right? So, onto WtW it goes...  even if that list is getting outta control long lately.  At least I know I won't run out of anime I want to see anytime soon!

\r\n

Henexic says...   [RE:Rewatching shows]   It's like when you start to read a book that is part of a trilogy in development. When the next chapter of the trilogy is on sale, the most of the time, you forgot most of the history. But it's great to rewatch all the seasons of an anime, you can "extract" more from the history and from the characters that you could have overlooked. Sometimes, I only want to watch a great moment of an anime but in the end, I see all chapters. It occurs me with Danmachi.

\r\n

I usually end up rewatching a show because of a new, related release, and it's been a while since I saw the original, so I rewatch to keep character and storylines fresh in my mind.  Or else I've been thinking about a show I waqtched some time ago... and I want to freshen up details in my mind...

\r\n

For some reason, I don't tend to enjoy rewatches as much if I'm rewatching to try to understand something I didn't really "get" fully the first time around.  (I'm thinking things like Evangelion (which I have rewatched for this reason), or Ergo Proxy (which I haven't yet rewatched but probably will... and am not really looking forward to it.)

\r\n

Henexic says...   [RE: Watching with others]  It can be so much fun to discuss and remember anime shows that you've seen and talk about them with others to get their perspectives.  Sometimes, you can even learn things you didn't know, or see things in a whole new way!  Sounds good! You're like anime ambassador showing everyone the culture of anime, my respects xD.

\r\n

I like to introduce folks to anime and I love it when they love it! *smile*  Although, it is rare I find someone who loves it as much as I do.  For that, though, I have my anime friends, the ones who were already into it when we became friends. I am indeed lucky to have found so many RL anime groups and been able to make a lot of anime friends, both RL and here on the site.  As you say, it -is- fun to swap opinions and get new perspectives on things; hear their take on what you recently watched, or even just share a fan-girl SQUEE moment occasionally!

\r\n

Sianeka says... I ended up liking KonoSuba a lot, but the end was a bit disappointing to me and I downgraded my initial rating of 4-stars to 3.5 stars because of it.  I just didn't like the way they rushed things to introduce lich wizard Wiz and the pacing was all messed up after that and the show never really recovered from it.

\r\n

Henexic says...   [RE KonoSuba]  It's true that the show start to go so fast from the 4th/5th chapter, but i don't think that they have to slow down much more. KonoSuba it's a parody and I think that speed prevents get bored because the story is too weak.

\r\n

While tis true that they didn't flesh out the story much at all, the pacing was working well up until they messed things up!  I think the increased rush to get Wiz into the story weakened the characterizations of the new people introduced and that didn't help enrich the story at all.  After all, her role in the story never got fully developed and she never felt like a real ally or a true outside team participant, which I think she was actually supposed to be.  But the story was too rushed for us to ever get to feel her involvement...

\r\n

Henexic says...   Of course, apart from the suggestions of page is great to know what animes likes other people or only talk about characters/story. Also we can discuss about the new animes that we can think will be good.

\r\n

I haven't had the time this season to watch much, but have started a few shows with my anime groups that I'm enjoying so far... Bungou Stray Dogs and Tanaka-kun is Always Listless are what I've currently started, and I'm hearing positive feedback about Joker Game, so I will want to check that out.  And maybe Ace Attorney...

\r\n

Henexic says...   Yes, that season have been a few anime that was so good, and others that was interesting but not so much great. Especially, I see too much animes in this season that was so disappointing for me, I had to stop watching these animes because I was bored. They promised to be good animes but ended up being very monotonous. One Piece is a great anime, but it's true that if start now is complicated catch up with the episodes. But One Piece have a very good feature, it history is great and has a good structure so one person can start to watch One Piece, stop and restart to watch without problem with the history.

\r\n

Yes, am still watching One Piece and am already up to episode 163, but am watching it on alternate days, and watching other shows in between.  There is a lot more to go on One Piece... am watching Pumpkin Scissors on alternate days.  (I'd started it with my anime group, but they sort of stalled out on it, so I've decided to finish watching it away from the group.  Am watching with a friend who was interested in seeing it.)

Well it's not so much of changing my personality as it is my work habits. You can still be the same person but change work habits/work ethic, it just gives you a bigger sense of responsiibility and reliability. And that's true, a lot of us do have some things we want to change about ourselves, but if we do then we wouldn't be who we already are. I personally wouldn't change anything about myself because I am who I am. Growing in confidence, self esteem, and things like that are changes for the better though.

Oh yes Koro-Sensei is one of my favorite characters ever, he's really something else and turned out to be completely different than what our first impressions of him were. And that goes for the rest of the characters as well like you said, it's the character development that really makes them shine and is why I love the anime so much :3

And yeah same with Lelouche, I was always questioning his actions and thought he was the biggest asshole at times, right to the last episode and then the feels hit... T.T

Haha yeah exactly, I always read comments right when I get them, but because I'm always behind like around 5 pages I never answer it for a week or two >.< But it's ok, as long as they get answered eventually!

Dang sounds really tough x.x Haha just make sure you get your rest so you don't burn yourself out! Well in terms of what i want to work on, just not waiting until the last minute to do things would make things soooo much better. I always do my homework at the last minute which makes everything worse, and cramming before a test never really helps... ._.

Yeah a lot of characters in anime are just copy and paste characters and it's really unfortunate. There are some characters that are unique from everyone else, and those characters are always the best :3

Haha yeah I noticed that, it's really a good way to comment so we actually know what we're talking about ^^

Yeah you were right on that one, it's ok though since we have other things going on ^^ I totally agree, talking with people here is really nice and super fun! I always miss it when I don't have enough time to reply to comments >.< I don't have very many anime friends in real life either so I get that, it's really unfortunate .-.

Henexic says...  Yes, it's true! My WtW list is enormous and I have a .txt file with more animes and mangas to watch that isn't in the WtW list. I suppose that I have to calm down a little bit xD.

\r\n

It seems no matter how much I watch from my Want to Watch list, it never goes down because I'm always adding to it faster and more frequently than I can watch things! It seems there is always new things I'm hearing about that I really want to check out!  You need to be a little less excited about new anime shows, if you already have a giant .txt file of shows to watch and manga to read.  (I used to keep a separate Excel spreadsheet myself, but I find it much more convenient now to have it all in one place here on the site.  So I keep track of my WtW items here.)

\r\n

Henexic says...  I understand you, is complicated combine the work/studies/social-life with the hobbies, now I haven't too much time so I need to organize more to watch anime. The problem with Durarara is that there are too much characters and it's complicated to remember all of them between seasons xD. Shokomeza is a character that I think need more work, she is a little bit topic with her motivations (a brother in troubles :p),  but her personality and the relationship with the other characters are good with a little bit of work she could be a great character.

\r\n

That's often a reason for me to rewatch a show - especially if there are complex plot points and/or many characters.  I often will rewatch a first season before starting a second season, particularly when it has been a while since I've seen the first season.  I do plan to rewatch Durarara before I watch S2. *grin*  (I don't mind when it is a show I enjoyed the first time!)

\r\n

Henexic says...  That is great! I don't have too many friends that talk about anime, but it's great when I talk with someone about a anime that both love or not (sometimes the second option creates better conversations xD)

\r\n

I am lucky to have lots of RL friends that are into anime.  Mostly because I belong to several RL anime groups where we meet up and get together just for the purpose of watching anime.  Also, I've persuaded my closest friends and family to get into it too, so we now all have anime in common!

\r\n

It can be so much fun to discuss and remember anime shows that you've seen and talk about them with others to get their perspectives.  Sometimes, you can even learn things you didn't know, or see things in a whole new way!

\r\n

Henexic says...  I can tell you that KonoSuba is great and so much funny. I didn't see FMAB, I see the original FMA and it was so much good the history and the soundtrack are awesome. I don't hear about the others anime, i hope that you can tell me more about they when you see them.

\r\n

I ended up liking KonoSuba a lot, but the end was a bit disappointing to me and I downgraded my initial rating of 4-stars to 3.5 stars because of it.  I just didn't like the way they rushed things to introduce lich wizard Wiz and the pacing was all messed up after that and the show never really recovered from it.

\r\n

Almost all of the other shows I'd mentioned are super long, and it will be a while before I finish them!  But I'll be glad to discuss any anime with you - ones you are watching, ones that I'm seeing or have seen, or even things I haven't seen yet...

\r\n

You are watching a lot of current season/recent anime, the site says.  I haven't gotten into the new season yet, only a few shows started.  Also, we are both watching One Piece, but you are MUCH MUCH farther along than I am.

\r\n

Henexic says... P.D: Thanks for the structure of the comment! Sometimes I forgot the conversation and it is soo much usefull :p

\r\n

It's easier for me as well to keep track of my conversations and the things I want to say to the other person.  That's why I started formatting my conversations this way.  It's sometimes hard to find the original comment again when I want to reread it or refer back to something...  this way, I can keep track a lot easier!
