I don't now how religious people are around here. I do know that the school have something similar to bible study at least once a week and many people go to church but I feel like one of the reasons why many people go to the bible study is for the food and to socialize. Also, some people stop going to church once they go to college.

Being busy is a possibility. Another most likely reason is nobody is forcing them to go

I don't see how having a low standard relates to Christians or Indians.
