Oh and I got myself so fired up about Killing Stalking blabbed about it so much I forgot to say that I don't really dislike romance manga/manhwa  about straight couples.  If you have something to recommend from those too then please don't hesitate to do so. :)

Hey!

It really has been a long time I've heard from you.  How are you doing?  I hope everything's okay.

I'm very glad to hear your little brother are enjoying One Piece and FMA. :)  And hey ... you can't finish anything that isn't probably going to end until it hits 1000 + episodes so ...  don't worry about it and just enjoy the ride. :)  I'm curious about how far you've reached with One Piece though.  10 episodes? 50?  500?! :D

Well ... I can't really talk about One Punch Man in general, because I haven't read the manga yet but nope ... I don't think the anime was gory at all.  I'm pretty sure I would have remembered it if it was, because that's not something I would forget so easily.  I do remember the most gory horror movies I've seen and gory manga (Battle RoyaleThe Black Cat and Golden Kamuy)  Also ...you can't really see those really gory things in anime if you watch them online anyway.  They are all censored, at least they are in my experience.

So I'm sorry, but yeah, I can't say I agree with you when you say One Punch Man anime is gory. :P  But that's just me.  Perhaps I have seen so many horrible and bloody scenes and injuries from different movies and stuff  that I've grown a really thick skin and am not really paying attention to the scenes that are less terrifying to me. :P  And to be completely honest ... now that I think of it ... I think I payed more attention to the humor in One Punch Man than I did pay attention to the battles. :D  That might also be one of the reasons  why I don't remember  gory things that you were talking about. :P

That's kind of funny.  When I read the most recent chapter of Killing Stalking, I also asked myself ... " Where the hell is the mangaka going with this?".  It really has become too jumpy and erratic for my taste.  I mean there were what ... about 4-5 chapters about how Bum and Sangwoo were snowboarding and skiing and stuff ... I actually couldn't wait for those to come an end because for me those chapters were rather boring.  I can't believe I'm saying this but nothing really happened but unnecessary and meaningless sex and a bit of flashback and Sangwoo acting like a cruel bastard he is ...

I mean ...  to me it kind of felt like the mangaka wanted to take some time off to come out of a writer's block or whatever ... but her editor or someone else rushed her and pressured her to submit something.  So she quickly did as told and did filler chapters to keep her editor and publisher happy.  Because really those chapters seemed like fillers to me. They weren't really connected to the rest of the story were they?  And now ... now she's like jumping from one  character to another ... showing  bits and parts of different things ... At this point I really hope you are right and it comes to an end soon.  Because I would be really annoyed if it is going to go on much longer the way it is now...  And to be honest I doubt this mangaka has what it takes to create more suspension and surprises for us. To me it seems like she has kind of given up on trying ... It seems like she doesn't give a fuck what happens to her story or characters from now on.   But that's just how it seems to me.   Who knows, maybe she'll  shock us with unexpected ending ( which I still doubtful...) because at the moment ...  I think I can kind of predict how it's going to end.

I'm pretty sure the phase where you binge off anime and manga and do other things for weeks,  maybe even months or years,  is a phase that everyone experience.  I've gone through it plenty of times.  I guess it just means you've reached your limit and take a bit of a break to fully enjoy those things again when you feel like picking up them again. Because in my experience you can't cut off anime and manga out of  your life completely ... I've actually tried intentionally to do that for couple of times and failed miserably. :P After some time I always come back to this site and continue watching and reading these things. I think it's healthy and useful to take those break though.

Yeah! Hey, how have you been?

It is! Ikr, I was so excited when I first saw it, but it took aaaaages for it to actually get translated. It's with the same characters and kinda picks up from where the semi cliffhanger left off. It was so good as well!! :D

Omg, ikr, seriously John, would it kill you to leave your hair alone???? Ridiculous doesn't even cover that hairstyle T_T

Ohh, they both look pretty interesting, I'll have to check them out. The concept sounds just like Scholar's Reincarnation, which is another webcomic I highly recommend. The guy is the reincarnation of basically the strongest villain ever, and it's just quality. Very funny as well.

Ahh, I actually started reading Dear Cold Blooded King and Good Day to be a Dog since we last spoke XD I'm still undecided about how I feel about mdcbk, but Good Day to be a Dog is now one of my favourites. It's so damn funny, and I really love the main two!

Ah, yeah, I'm reading a rew discover things, including Purple Hyacinth. I agree, I would be very surprised if it didn't win the contest, it's a great series. I read a couple of other entries and they just weren't anywhere near as good. I did actually give LYFE a go and I just couldn't get into it for whatever reason.

Oh, another one I picked up recently was Phantom Paradise. Literally the most gorgeous art you will ever see, plus a great plot. It's awesome. I'd definitely recommend you give it a shot if you're not already reading it.

Haha, same :P

No worries XD Ahh, yay, another American Ghost Jack fan!! I'm so happy :D I must've reread it at least 5 times already, I love it so much XD

Ohh, yay! Gintama really is good. Honestly, it would loose a lot if it was dubbed. So many jokes that would be lost in translation... Probably wouldn't watch it with your brother if he's not used to subs though, they get a bit too fast even for me sometimes :P

Ohh, seriously?? Let me know if you do publish it, I'd love to read it :D I'm reading Refund High School, Lumine and Unordinary as well! Loving them so much :D

Oh boy, I am reading waaaay too many webtoons for my own good (when you start reading at least 5 series in a day, you know you should be worrying :P) My favourites would have to be Boyfriend of the Dead (no question my fave, 11/10 would recommend), Bluechair, Days of Hana, Sweet Home and Ghost Teller :D

You're very welcome! :3

Hmm ... that's weird... I don't remember One Punch Man being gory at all...  But I suppose my understanding of gory and the understanding of 11-year-old of gory might be quite different.  I hope at least you enjoy it though.

But you know ... if by any chance your little brother has a thing that he can't stand the blood  or just hates violence, then I'd say One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist might not be the right anime for him at all  all. Fighting is basically all they do there after all. Actually ... I basically doubt in all my suggestions now... Or maybe those sports anime might be the best choices for him then ....  Sorry about that ...

Oh wow. Thank you for your recommendations.  I can't help but notice that all of them are  BL though :3. I'm not complaining though. :D  I actually like dark stories so I'm glad you could share some of them with me.  I've seen Love Stage!! anime and it was cute ... but the manga is darker you say?  I might want to take a look at it after all then.  Killing Stalking is my cup of tea in a sense of the dark atmosphere ... storywise though ... I kind of feel it has started to go downhill a bit.  But that's just how I feel ...

Well I don't have the best memory either so I tend to forget a lot of anime and manga to when someone asks me to recommend me something.  Hell, I was struggling remembering those anime to recommend for your brother. :P  So no, it's not only you. Don't worry!

No need to apologize,  sadly I am not online as often as I was before either. I have some busy times at hand so I'm the one who needs to apologize for all my delays beforehand...  I'm sorry.
