No problem!

\r\n

Sure, I've always got plenty to recommend! I don't really know you that well and it's hard to say what kind of things I think you'll enjoy, so I just decided to recommend a bunch of random stuff. I did look at your list though, so I think some of them might appeal to you based on other things you enjoyed. I'm terrible at writing summaries, so it's better if you just read the synopsis on their pages.

\r\n
  • Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - I know this is already on your list, but it's one of my favourites, so I recommend watching right away. Watch it right now. Then watch the second season. Sleep is irrelevant. The OVAs (Kira and Rei) aren't part of the main story and can be skipped if you're not interested in them. They don't have the same tone or story as the original and most people don't enjoy them. Kira is okay if you want something fun and wacky with the Higurashi characters though.

  • Is the Order a Rabbit? - I love cute girls doing cute things anime (e.g. New Game and Love Lab) and I think this is one of the best. The setting is great (it's based on European towns), the characters are fun and it's adorable.
  • \r\n
  • K-on! - Another cute girls doing cute things show. It also has nice coming of age aspects.
  • \r\n
  • Osomatsu-san - It's based on an old anime called Osomatsu-kun, but you don't need any knowledge of it to watch this series, it isn't a direct sequel or anything. I love this style of comedy, but it might not be for everyone. The first episode is kind of different from the rest of the series, so you should watch two to see if you'll enjoy it or not. There are some surprisingly dramatic parts as well.
  • \r\n
  • Mawaru Penguindrum - It has a lot of symbolism and can be hard to understand at times, but it can still be enjoyed without paying much attention to those sorts of things. It can be interesting to analyse and watch it a few times, but it's not exactly necessary. If you do watch it, I'd recommend looking at some analysis/essays on it or even doing it yourself to appreciate it a little more.
  • \r\n
  • Shiki - This is good if you like vampires and horror in general. The art style is kind of off-putting, but I still think it's worth watching.
  • \r\n
  • Tsuritama - Really colourful and has an interesting art style. I like anime set near the sea, so I enjoyed that aspect of it. It's a great coming of age story as well.
  • \r\n
  • Clannad - The style of drama is similar to Angel Beats!, so you might enjoy it as well.
  • \r\n
  • Hunter x Hunter (2011) - This one is kind of long, but definitely worth it. A lot of people say the earlier arcs aren't that interesting, but I personally enjoyed them. The main characters have a really nice friendship and I love watching their adventures together. Some of the arcs also have a darker tone than what you'd expect from a series like this.

Sorry if this is too much! Let me know what you think if you watch any of them.

0_0 Interesting... Honestly I'm not sure I could write 100 words about my ideal teacher in English, let alone in another language!

Damn, such an unnecessarily long exam. I know exactly how you feel - I always seem to finish ridiculously early in maths exams. Well, I guess at least you get a lot of time to check your answers...

Yeah, there's so much you have to remember for logs. Once you've got your head around it they're not too bad, but until then they're kind of annoying.

Yay! Good luck!

Thankfully, no. Which is great, because my next exam is one I'm going to have to revise loads for (as much as I love chemistry, why are there so many facts to learn?)

FullmetalDragon May 24, 2017

Haha, yeah, I think most people would :)

Well, finishing early is usually a pretty good sign, although it's quite impressive that you managed to finish 45 minutes early.

If it makes you feel any better, that's about 2 paragraphs more French than I could write :D Wait, do you have to count the number of words you used in your exam then? Seems an odd thing to do... At least you did it though - and I'm sure it went better than you think!

It wasn't too bad, pretty much exactly what I was expecting from it. There was a pretty annoying log question, but other than that it was all good!

Which exams have you got tomorrow?

FullmetalDragon May 24, 2017

Ah, I see. That sounds pretty good.

What? No lessons? Well, I guess you'd probably miss most of them anyway because of exams, so that makes sense.

How'd your exams go today by the way (assuming you've had them ^^)

FullmetalDragon May 23, 2017

Omg that's crazy! I have a similar number of exams but they're spread out over like a month and a half!

There must be so many timetable clashes though! And is there even enough room in the exam hall(s) you use?
