Best Animes From 2007

I really had a hard time ordering the animes from this year, many should be side by side not above or below. I only included the animes I have watched from these years. I'm not including Sequels when quality declines or when the story started on previous years. I am including Sequels where it makes sense to keep watching, in order to complete the story.
51 Tokyo Majin

Tokyo Majin

This is a good anime for those who like monsters vs. humans type of setting. It is not perfect and may not be for everyone, the ending is incomplete after both seasons too.

'...They plunge you right into the action, and then take you along for the ride. The characters themselves are what interested me the most, because they all seem to unfold themselves as the story progresses. They're not always fearless and perfect, and they don't always save the person that needs saving --but they try...' -willtaylor

The dub is ok.

52 Tokyo Majin: 2nd Act

Tokyo Majin: 2nd Act

Continuation of the story.

53 Futatsu no Kurumi

Futatsu no Kurumi

This is a really good OVA, it packs a lot in a short time and the story is well told, from the perspective of kids during World War II.

54 Iblard Jikan

Iblard Jikan

This short is a visual experience with amazing art and relaxing music, akin to watching the sunset. There is no plot or story, it's more like watching a fantasy world through a window.

55 Wangan Midnight

Wangan Midnight

This is great for people who loves cars as it focus mostly on tuning. However, it may have been a better series with less episodes, as it becomes too repetitive towards the end, but its still a great watch if you like cars.

56 School Days

School Days

Despite the initial premise of the first episodes, this is not a cute story, but one where indecision, deception, immaturity and being irresponsible gives way to dire consequences. This misconception attracted the wrong audience (that was expecting a feel-good romance) and is most likely the source of low ratings, as people got something completely different from what they were expecting.

'Though typically not a fan of series that highlight the morbid facets of human interaction, I must admit that School Days is definitely one of the best of its type.  The structure and presentation of the series is put together brilliantly, compacting its content to start well, climax flawlessly, and end with a rather shocking bang.  Unlike so many series that simply thud after they peak, the ending to School Days is neither rushed nor poorly scripted, and provides some, might I add disturbing, closure...

All in all, though not an anime that will sweep you off your feet, School Days weaves a horrific tale of the human heart's ability to be treacherous and cruel toward its fellow man... Though definitely not everyone's cup of tea, if you have a strong stomach and a willingness to endure some rather disturbing moments, give School Days a once through - you won't be disappointed.' -Sheex

By the way, the OVA is the same as the first episode of this series.

57 Moonlight Mile

Moonlight Mile

This show is not perfect, being the lack of focus in the story which pretends to be something but delivers a lot of fluff is one of its majors drawbacks, but it does a good job of showing the spirit of adventure, self-motivation and the desire to stand at the top, plus the conviction that your dreams are within your grasp. It definitely has its moments where it shines.

Unfortunately, the 2nd Season - Touch Down is more of a filler arc that barely moves the story forward.
