Hey! I noticed you commented on someone's profile to ask them a question about Higurashi. To answer it - Higurashi is a time loop. So, when an arc ends, time resets, so anyone that died is now alive again. This is explained later in the series. It has been years, so you may not need to know this anymore, but I thought I'd answer just in case.
