Hello! How are you? Thank you for the welcome, it’s really nice of you! I’m really glad I joined WECO and I’m looking forward to start my job as a Greeter! I'm a bit anxious because I'm new but other than that I can't wait!!  ^_^

Thanks bro! :D
Since I become WECO Greeter I feel fullfilled :P
How's going ? :))

HKBattosai says...  Now I’m REALLY blushing! It’s going to look like I have a California sunburn.  ;)  And not to make you blush but when you comment me I will sometimes login ASAP (even at work – shhh, don’t tell) just to respond back. Like I’ve mentioned, you give a lot of thought into your comments and I certainly appreciate it!

\r\n

hahaha  Now, I'm envisioning you furiously blushing!  Sweet!

\r\n

And just so you know, I also love when I see a comment from you as well.  I'm always excited to reply and I happily read and re-read all that you've written so I can digest it and respond back in kind.  YOURS are the comments that are thoughtful and insightful and interesting!  I merely respond back when I reply.

HKBattosai says...  [RE: Eden of the East] I did enjoy it quite a bit. I had semi-high expectations and it delivered for the most part. It just barely squeezed out a 4.5 due to its entertainment value and its replay value. There was no filler and some unexpected plot twists like you said. I tend to be less critical as well when I rate or review anime because if I break everything down to an analytical level, I tend to almost over critique it. You’d be hard-pressed to find too many anime above a four rating. That’s just how I am. *grin*

\r\n

I am the same way, except:  my overall enjoyment is ultimately what decides the rating for me.  How I felt about it colors everything else.  If I thought, meh, that was ok, then I'm gonna rate it some sort of 2 rating (mediocre) and then the analysis I do in my mind determines whether it is a 2 or a 2.5.  If I thought, hey, that was pretty good, then it's gonna be some sort of 3 rating.  If I say to myself, Wow, that was good, I gotta tell (someone) about this, then it's gonna be some sort of 4 rating.  I've yet to give a 5-star rating to anything.  But, when I do, it'll probably be me rethinking my rating for FMAB or Hotarubi --> those are my candidates to be my first 5-star anime shows.

\r\n

I constantly look at my ratings system to see which description best matches what I feel about a show.  Thank heavens for my creating that!  Before, everything was always:  That was pretty good. 3-stars.

\r\n

I gave EVERYTHING 3 stars.  Meaningless.

\r\n

Now, I think about the show as I'm rating it, and that actually causes the ratings to have more meaning for me.  Not everything is 3-stars.  And when I look back at the ratings I gave months later, I remember the thought I gave the show, and remember the things I was considering as I was determining the rating, and that helps remind me better about what I saw and refreshes my memory about the show.  I remember them better because I relive the rating experience. *smile*

\r\n

If you care to see: Sianeka's rating system  (I shamelessly stole pieces of everyone else's rating system that made sense to me!)

\r\n

HKBattosai says...  Regarding Saki and Takizawa’s relationship, Karin84 COMPLETELY agrees with that!

\r\n

AS I mentioned to her, I'd love to have seen this developed a bit more.

\r\n

[SPOILER] Although, it is developed a teeny bit more in the movies.  [END SPOILER]

\r\n

But not at the expense of the story.  I'd rather it be left out if it interferes with the pacing of the plot.  Too many times, shows bog down when they try to forceably insert a romantic relationship and it really ruins a great story, making it merely good or worse, mediocre.  Superman comes to mind to me immediately.  Most every single Superman story is ruined by them trying to get Superman and Lois Lane together in the story.  Sometimes, you know, Lois can be left out of the story...

\r\n

HKBattosai says...  I’ve used Discord for a little while now, but sparingly. My name on there is JustCallMeMike, but am on the US East. IDK if that is going to make a difference or not. And yes, you can invite me any time. Let me know if you need other info to do so. Also, I do not Skype as of yet.  -HK

\r\n

I can't add you to my Discord contacts with out the four digit numberical code after the JustCallMeMike ID. (All  Discord Usernames are actually a name and a Discord-assigned four digit number.  JustCallMeMike#xxxx  and without that number, you can't locate the other member with just the User name part alone.  I'll send you a Discord invite to the WECO group chat via PM/Conversation, and also share my Discord ID info with you there, so I'm not posting it publically in a comment for all to read.

\r\n

(IMHO  I think Skype is actually a bit more intuitive and easy to use, but it is a big space-hogging application, from my understanding, with bloated coding and with a fair number of problems associated with that.  Discord, by comparison, is lean and small, from what I'm told.  I find Discord interferes less when I'm gaming, if I use it during my games and Skype causes more game interference.  But when just using it for messaging, I tend to like to use Skype more.  Either way, I generally keep both open any time my computer is turned on.  I generally have both open 24/7.)
