Ahoy!

I'm HIM357 from Australia. I've been watching anime seriously since about 2004, when I realised that Spirited Away was anime, and was directed by the same guy who made Laputa: Castle in the Sky (my thoughts at the time), that I watched about a year beforehand.

I've seen a fair amount of anime in that time, and you'll find that I'm generally not extremely critical of what I watch. I base my ratings on how much I enjoy the series, and I don't like to give low ratings unless I explicitly dislike them. For that reason, you'll find that the majority of my ratings are between 3 (It was ok) to 5 (Awesome!).

I generally enjoy genres including science fiction, philosphical series, comedy, mahou shoujo, mecha and action. I'll watch almost anything with a half-decent plot. I dislike most ecchi series (though there are a few exceptions, in the event that they have some deeper plot or interesting humour).
