Hello! I'm Guesty, a 25 year old otaku from the UK!

I have been watching anime and reading manga for just over a year now, and I feel I have grown a lot personality wise since then! After finishing university, I found myself with not a whole lot to do until I started working, so I turned to anime and manga for entertainment. It was all very new to me back then, but it wasn't too long before I was deep into otaku and Japanese culture.

I used to watch Dragonball Z a lot as a kid, and the odd spot of Hack every so often, but I decided to start this time round with something totally different. I began my venture at the start of last year with Lucky Star (dubbed, because I was naive). I love the series so much I watched it four times in a row. After, I moved onto something with a little more story and ended up watching The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! The series was a little strange, and I found it difficult to follow until I realised I was watching the messed up order. The Haruhi movie is still one of the best animated films I've seen, along with a tonne of stuff from Studio Ghibli!

It's roughly the same with manga, but in any case I hope to get along with you all as best as we can!
