Hey! I just saw your comment, and I totally agree with your reasoning for the second season. Often in drama-romcoms like Clannad, the characters have human motivations, but end up just being 1 sided stereotypes of their trope, eg Sunohara and being the loser flirt. Every human felt complex and human in SNAFU, and so when they broke from their 'stereotype' in this season, it felt justified because they were never that stereotype to begin with; it was just the biased view of the MC in the first season. It's a disappointment to hear that the third season relies on heavy-handed and rushed drama, especially with how well the slow pace of the second season serviced the character development in their respective arcs. I also like how the show doesn't just outright explain or say things like other shows with a very obvious moral. Thanks for your review, it really helped me put my feelings about the show into words. I'll tell you how I find the third season!
Hey there! I just saw your review on SNAFU Climax. You took the words straight out of my mouth- I haven't watched climax yet, only 1st and 2nd season. Your comment on the interpersonal relationships between the characters and the implicit meaning shown behind every interaction was super interesting! You gave s2 a 10/10, and I agree! It made me cry twice! I'd like to hear your reasons on why s2 was a 10/10, since your review of s3 was so good.
I have never really reviewed a show before it ended, so I did say "I believe" not that I was completely sure. So, sorry I don't really know the minimum number of episodes that a show must have before it can be reviewed.
hahaha good taste! Especially about the character ones XDGHGSD ^^
my favourite shows are definitely Kiznaiver, darling in the franxx, howl's moving castle, Violet Evergarden, bungou stray dogs and kakegurui maybe?? But I would not say it is the best. The first 4 are for me the best I’ve ever seen! <3 But it is of course hard to choose becuase I mostly enjoyed all of the anime I've watched :>
And from manga i think my number ones are wotakoi: love is hard for otaku, and karasugaoka don't be shy!!, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei Shiteshimatta…), Noragami, kuroshitsuji, my little monster, haganai: I don't have many friends, re: zero, bakemonogatari and devils and realists.
And mine favourite characters are i think I would say from males- Howl from howl's moving castle, Qiefrie Atelier and the Witch Hat, Dazai Osamu from bungous stray dogs but I prefer him when he was in port mafia and not in agency, Sakunosuke Oda, Gojo Satoru maybe? from jujutsu kaisen, Daisuke Kanbe from fugou keiji: balance: unlimited and from female characters- zero two from darling in the franxx, Noriko Sonozaki from Kiznaiver, Bishamonten from Noragami, Kouyo Ozaki from bsd, Kirari Momobami from kakegurui, Violet Evergarden from Violet Evergadren xD maybe? Maki Zenin from jujutsu Kaisen, Sakura Nanamine from toilet bound Hanako kun, Susamaru- she is a demon from kimetsu no yaiba and the best demon ever- Spider mother also from demon slayer! <3
Haha sorry- I wrote too much, but for me it is also hard to choose because I have like- favourite character from basically any anime I've watched. It would take forever to list all my favourites haha
Do you have maybe favourite video game? If you of course play them? <3Or maybe you have your favourite music artist or song?? ^^
Your welcome!! Hope you enjoy <333
