*Changing format for reviews temporarily* Considering I almost never watched this until someone told me to go ahead and watch it, it made the series that much better in many respects. Things to say up front: Yes, it does have fanservice, some of which is highly revealing; yet it is tastefully done - as in it fits in "naturally" with the background instead of your atypical ecchi where it is simply 'there'. Yes, it does not have the best plot at times, and relies upon action or sheer 'over-the-top' abilities to work things through. Yes, it most likely is not what the hype says it is.

 Not really much to say about this one other than that it does not deserve it's average rating that it currently holds. It's not meant to be serious, which therefore means there is not much in the way of continuity. Or plot. It's random, in other words - completely, utterly random. Where to begin with this one....where to begin. Guess first is that this is by far not a record breaking anime; nor is it award winning. For that matter, it is not even "average", which is a bit of a shame, really.

 The story is about a teen (with a tragic past) named Junna whom one day encounters someone whom he has never met claiming to be his sister, yet he already has one. Randomness! Random-y randomness. That is the best way to describe the plot, antics, and characters for Di Gi Charat - complete randomness. Essentially, it all begins one day when Dejiko, Gema, and Puchiko land via space shuttle in Akibahara, Tokyo. While they have no money for an apartment, but with the kind heart of a local store manager, their problem is solved by working for him. .....and that's it, really, for the "plot" of sorts. This was one of the "woulda, shoulda, coulda, but didn't" anime - it had a good setup, decent cast, but just....left it so to speak. It just....was not what it could have been.
The story itself focuses on how at a very posh, hard-to-get-into all male academy. However, this particular academy has a tradition - to take a carefully selected group of first years and have them crossdress so as to make the school more cheery and to essentially be the school's "idols". Storyline: Thankfully, not another "disaster hits and all society breaks down" show. If anything, it teaches to be thankful for what you have - no matter what it may be. The whole series follows a girl who travels the ruins of Tokyo with her brother and a complete stranger after a magnitude 8.0 earthquake hits; to get back to each of their homes (and to make sure their families are still alive).

This is indeed a tear-inducing series - don't get me wrong. Each event has the extreme likelihood of you bawling your eyes out (or at least tearing up). It sure made me...especially with its ending... See full review

 A review and watching five years in the making... So...been hearing about Hetalia pretty much since it came out - and have seen quite a bit of merchandise made for the series as well. When it was finally discovered on this streaming site, it was a sure-fire watch... Apparently partly based upon the concept of the move The Final Countdown , the plot follows the crew of the J.S.D.F. Aegis missile cruiser Mirai; both of whom are sent over sixty years into the past to the day before the battle of Midway while en-route to Pearl Harbor for naval exercises.

The main idea that is floated for majority of the anime is "How much is too much?" in terms of meddling with the time stream, along with the idea of if you have the capability to allow whatever side you wanted win, would you do so? There are few totally naval anime out there, let alone one that features actual combat, so..
Story: The main premise is that sometime in the future (shortly after the sea levels rise due to global warming) a mysterious and hostile force using what appear to be Second World War submarines, battleships, and cruisers and kown only as "the Fog" embark on a rampage, leveling anything made by humanity it can reach.  Eventually however, hope comes when one of the enemy ships is captured - a submarine. Now this was a gem that was watched not too long ago (two days ago to be exact). The series follows one Jonah and his dealings with the arms dealer Koko Hekmatyar. Though, there's a slight twist: Jonah is a child soldier who hates weaponry and those who sell them after having his village bombed by weapons sold to the local militia. After being hired, Jonah follows around Koko and her other bodygaurds from location to location, usually shooting things along the way. There are some anime that are good; excellent even. There are those that are bad, sometimes to the extent of you wishing to bash your head in after every episode. Then...there are anime like Popee the Performer. It cannot neccessarily be said as "good" (it most certainly is not), but at the same time, it cannot be said as totally "bad" either.
