In case you haven't realized it yet, I just copy/paste your comment from my comment page into my comment here on your page.  (I do this because it is hard sometimes to remember what was said last and finding a comment on my page can be difficult since I tend to get a lot of comments on my profile.  Reposting what the person said makes it easier for them to continue the flow of the conversation, I feel.)

I am soooo sorry for the late response replying back to your last comment to me.  I just got a new laptop (my first!) as an early birthday present - my birthday's not until July - and I've been busy playing with it - setup, getting all my programs loaded onto it, learning the new operating system (Win 8) plus had some RL time constraints and with everything happening, I just haven't been on a-p as much as usual and not responding to my comments as quickly as I usually do. :(

My bad, totally.

Cause I love my comment conversations!  Am so very sorry I've neglected them for this past week and a half, and especially sorry I hadn't gotten back to you sooner.

To get started, definitely thingk about getting involved in the Forum if you feel comfortable doing so.  The forum is the real heart of communication on the site (you can send private messages to other members and can get involved with clubs and group activities). It's lively and fun there - lots of interaction with other members.

But note that you'll need to create a separate forum registration ID - Recommended to use the same name as your site ID as the two areas are not yet merged (but that is coming sometime in the very near future as part of the site redesign). Just click on community link at the top of the page, and then choose Forum link from the dropdown menu.

Feel free to join some clubs or play some forum games as well - You'll definitely get to recognize and "know" other members and make friends on the site.

For games, just join any game in progress by posting a reply to any existing game. Find them in the Forum General Discussion area under Forum Games.

For clubs:

First, check out the Club Chat section of the forum! Next, look at member signatures in the posts - often various clubs the member belongs to will be listed. If one interests you, do a forum search to find the topic or ask the member who has it in signature ... The first post of any club topic will usually explain what the club is about and be posted by club founder ... there will often also be a list of other club members. Participate as instructed and you will be joining the club!

Most don't require anything but your participation in order to join. Check out the club rules in the first post, but usually all that is required is that you post your interest in joining, and then participate however is indicated in the first post: posting/uploading pictures or watching a specific anime at a specific time, or specific episodes at a specified time period and posting commentary.
