In short, I just watch whatever I want to watch, whenever I want to watch it.  (I also usually don't follow current-season shows.)

Sometimes I watch stuff that's way "out of date"; sometimes they're obscure, too.  I just like being taken on an adventure when I watch a story, preferably one where I can take in the sense of atmosphere and become fond of the cast.

Below you can find what's basically a list of my favorite characters, and I've also made a custom list of what's basically my favorite series.

I tend to prefer sci-fi and fantasy settings, and drama stories.  But I may choose to watch something because a character looks nice or its theme song sounds nice.

My ratings are an expression of how much I like a given series.  It's basically this:

0.5 star = hate it
1.5 star = dislike it
2.5 star = meh
3.5 star = like it
4.5 star = love it

(These are half-star ratings because of the way I used MAL scores and because I imported them from MAL.  I just haven't bothered reconfiguring everything for A-P yet.)
